Big shout to Noah. 👊
He fought a proper good bout against a very game blue belt. Didn’t get the win this time round, but that was a solid fight all the same, showed heart, kept pushing, and gave it everything.
That’s the kind of graft that builds champions. Respect. 🥋🔥
People love that fantasy, one bloke standing there like a film hero, dropping three attackers like bowling pins. Looks great on telly. In reality? Fighting multiple opponents is chaos.
Doesn’t matter how tough you are, two, three people coming at you and the odds change fast. Someone’s behind you, someone’s grabbing, someone’s swinging. It’s messy, unpredictable, and it only takes one mistake.
The smart move ain’t standing there trying to be a legend. It’s awareness, positioning, making space and getting out. Real self-defence is about surviving, not looking good for the camera.

Tonight’s Krav Maga drill pushed the pace with explosive kick combatives combined with real-world blade defense. Students trained to strike with power, create space instantly, and respond decisively when faced with edged threats.

Hope everyone’s had a decent break over the holidays.
We’re back at it next week. Taekwondo kicks off on the 6th of January at our new location, Blockhouse Bay Baptist Church.
Krav Maga follows on the 8th. Back to graft, discipline, and sharpening the tools.

Last martial arts session of the year and we finished it the only way we know how, with discipline, respect and graft.
Big congratulations to Parnika who earned that yellow belt in Taekwondo tonight. Thats right earned, turned up, put the work in, and got the result. Thats how we do it.
We reset and go again on January 6th this time at a new venue, Blockhouse Bay Baptist Church, 504 Blockhouse Bay Rd.
Head down, chest out. Enjoy the break, then we go again 🥋💪
