Otahuhu Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Temple Extension – PROJECT UPDATE

We’re honoured to be working alongside the Supreme Sikh Society New Zealand (SSSNZ) on the extension of the historic Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji — the first Sikh Gurdwara Temple in Auckland, originally built in the 1980s.

This project involves temporary ablution block set up, construction of a full multi-level blockwork structure, along with a complete fitout of amenities including common areas, bathrooms, showers, storage areas, office, changing facilities, and lounge space — all while keeping the existing building operational and safely open to the public.

THE BOTANIC RETIREMENT VILLLAGE STAGE 8 – CONCRETE WORKS

With CCG’s steady and strategic expansion into Concrete Works including Concrete Structures, our team is now equipped to offer a broader range of services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Earlier this year, we had the privilege of being part of The Botanic Retirement Village Stage 8 project where CCG assisted with the Concrete Structures in close collaboration with our valued client and trusted partner, MAKO Commercial.

This project reflects the strength of our working relationship and the confidence they’ve placed in our growing capabilities.

Scope of Works Included:
- 1,060m2 of Rib Raft Foundations including precast pads & footings
- 1,092m2 Suspended Concrete Post Tension Slabs using the Airodek Formwork System (PT Strands done by Others)

This milestone marks another exciting chapter for CCG as we continue to grow our expertise and deliver results!

CCG was recently on the ground in the beautiful coastal town of Gisborne, delivering a Burger King RE-IMAGE - Burger King NZ

With this being the only Burger King in town, time was critical. A tight shutdown window meant every hour counted to avoid impacting sales and the CCG team delivered!

In just 4.5 days, CCG completed:

- Back-of-house commercial kitchen works including removal and installation of kitchen equipment & epoxy flooring

- External Works including alterations, paint, signage and a brand-new drive-thru canopy

Thanks to this rapid turnaround, the Drive-Thru was back up and running, allowing Burger King to continue trading with minimal disruption.

The front-of-house transformation followed, completed in just another 10 days.

In a remote location like Gisborne, smart program planning and material procurement were key - These are some of many core strengths of CCG and exactly what we’re known for.

🍗 Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Albany – Now COMPLETE and OPEN! 🚧

We’re proud to announce the successful completion and opening of the brand-new Popeyes in Albany!

Project Consisted of the following:
- 1,969m2 of site works including Dual Lane Drive-through, Landscaping & 15 x Carpark
- 290m2 New Build including Complete Fit-Out Works

This was a challenging project due to design constraints including building constructed from precast concrete panels and 4 x large underground detention tanks holding total 36,500L of water due to SMAF zoning, site logistic constraints due to location and programming constraint due to existing retaining wall onsite which restricted loading effecting the methodology and delayed speed of the build!

Despite these hurdles with CCG's Key strengths of strong project planning, proactive problem-solving, and tight design coordination the team were able to deliver this project in JUST over 5 Months from Building Consent Issue to CPU / Trading!

Albany Popeyes Project Milestone!

Despite the wet and rainy weather last Friday, we came together for a Roof Shout BBQ to celebrate the site progress significant milestone passed on the project.

It was a great opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our Project Team, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Client.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to getting us to this point — with the finish line in sight, we’re now on the home stretch!

A fantastic achievement by the CCG team on this 100m² new build within just 8 Working Weeks!

This rapid completion is a testament to our commitment to detailed pre-construction planning.

By addressing all design, technical, and logistical details before works commence we create a clear path for efficient and high-quality delivery on site.

Get ready! Another Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is on the way and under construction—coming soon! 🍗🔥

The CCG team has been working diligently to deliver this wee 100m² new build.

In just 18 working days, we have completed Driven Pile Foundation Works to getting the dwelling weather-tight and painted externally with all Council Inspections Passed.

CCG strongly believes in thorough project planning, addressing all details upfront before works commence onsite.

This approach streamlines the process and enhances on-site efficiency, ensuring a smooth and successful outcome!

This transformation represents a significant step forward in enhancing customers experience with a modernized design, improved functionality, and a focus on creating an inviting atmosphere.

Our team at CCG worked bring this vision to life in a tight timeframe working day and night over 5 days to ensure the restaurant is back up and running with minimal downtime.

CCG completed building this architecturally designed masterpiece for our client Well Property in just 16 Weeks!
