Out on the road yesterday kicking goals for one of my good customers

F100 - new battery cables
C10 - battery tested, dash warning lights fitted and air ride suspension tested
Datsun 1200 - fuel gauge tested and stereo illumination inspected

Hopefully the final touches going into this '59 Apache. I've been a part of this build for the last 5 years or maybe even longer! Starting in the sheet metal phase everything electrical was laid out and planned to perfection. We even fired the engine and ran it while the vehicle was still bare metal! Yesterday the central locking was connected, a faulty stop light switch was diagnosed and a jumpstart system via Anderson plug was wired in. Lane Customs Styles!

Another one out the door, Sportster in for not turning over and a bit of a tidy up. New starter relay supplied and fitted. Headlight wired, dash warning lights relocated into eyebrow, speedo relocated to bar clamp, new front stop light switch fitted, new accelerator cables fitted and load resistors wired in for the indicators. Another custom chopper getting a Lane Customs full over haul! New circuit breakers, new indicators and tail light, 80% of the wiring replaced, headlight upgrade and a Motogadget dash wired in, Lane Customs Styles!

Same shop next Beach Hop job ticked off the list! 1970 HG Monaro, old Alpine stereo removed and new JVC unit fitted with 9" screen. Vehicle powered up and all lights etc repaired and tested. Another one ready for it's Beach Hop duties!

Back out on the road making people's Beach Hop dreams come true! HQ Holden Tow Truck for my good customer headlight upgrade to semi-sealed headlights with headlight relay, slight tidy up of some engine bay wiring. This vehicle will get the full Lane Customs treatment after it has completed it's Beach Hop duties!

Finally found some time on the weekend to work on our own weapon of a caravan! 2025 Snowy River Luxury Series SRL220S that we had custom made to order for us. We asked for five solar panels to be fitted on the roof during the build, and paid good money to have a solar regulator fitted that was supposed to be big enough for 5 panels?! No specs were ever given in the paperwork for the wattage of the solar panels, so me being me I found the specification stickers under the panels using a mirror and a torch! Turns out we had 5 x 200W panels. The solar controller could only manage 700W of input. So out it comes, the correct sized solar controller is now the size of a small suitcase and needs to be mounted in the front trunk area. I ran 10mm2 cables for the solar panels, from the cupboard with the battery management system, through the walls, down behind the fridge, through the floor, along the chassis and back up through the floor. 25mm2 cables from the new solar controller to the shunt and batteries and job done. Only took 7 hours of my Saturday, easy peasy! 🤦‍♂️🤣

Back in the shop and the Beach Hop rush is well and truely under way! HT Monaro, new fan belt, MSD tach adapter wired in, oil pressure gauge tested and starter relay fitted to remedy voltage drop! Lane Customs Styles!

Been so busy since geting back from Bali I've had no time to post anything, so here we go...! C10 Chevy truck, new battery cables, new stereo wired in and illumination bulb holders supplied and fitted for air ride gauges.

Now this a bit more my style! Blown big block T-bucket in for Charging system tested, battery tested, starting system tested, tail light rebuilt and LED undercarriage lighting supplied and fitted Lane Customs Styles!
