Just revisiting these images thinking of entering them into a photo comp. Taken on a rainy road trip through Dargaville. These colourful, weathered buildings stood out on a dull day—poignant storytellers of the past. As the cost of living rises and businesses close, they echo resilience in today’s hard times, shining with character in the heart of rural New Zealand.
