Day off work means a day riding and working on the bikes. 😁

Always like to start a day with clear skies by taking the SP-1 out for a small run, always love riding that bike.

Back to the garage:

Pinky is getting a general check over plus some fresh fluids and filters.

Xavier’s Hyosung (yet to be named) is getting some final prep work done plus a fresh coat of paint, should be looking amazing for the upcoming season of racing!

Both bikes should hopefully be out at the next few trackdays at Hampton Downs for some testing and butt in seat time!

First half of complete, and a pretty decent trophy haul! To be honest, given I was on a SS300 in round 1, a Pro Twin in round 2 and a Sportbike in round 3, I wasn’t expecting a single top 3 overall in any class, let alone 3!!!

Super stoked with the event and organisation that’s gone on behind the scenes to make this cup happen, really excited to continue with the second half of the North Island Cup at AMCC round 1 in September!

Weekend done and dusted, great result - 4 wins from 4 races on the CBR650R

The V02 Slicks held up amazingly all day long, providing consistent performance and lap times.

Super happy with the progression made and lots of notes to hopefully improve myself and the package.

Heck of a machine! Really happy with the progress I made adapting to the bike (Believe it or not, it was my first ever time riding a 4 cylinder race bike!)

Thanks to Wayne and the team from Honda for all the help and support, especially Sharp Motorsport for the advise and feedback throughout the day.

Super duper excited for the next outing, can't wait to see what we can do together!
