Here's a quick how to wrap your Rainbow Wraps with our awesome instructor Ru! π
Hand wraps help protect your wrists, knuckles, and fingers, while adding support and padding when you punch. They also absorb sweat and help keep our gloves fresher for longer!
π‘ Pro Tip: Keep your fingers slightly spread while wrapping your hand, and make a fist periodically to check the fit. And avoid twists, wrinkles, or thick lumps!
Not a fan of wrapping? If you find the 4M wraps a bit tricky or inaccessible, take a look at getting pre-wrapped ones instead from your local sports store.

As the seasons change, we thought itβd be the perfect time to bring our Mermascs swims into the sauna for a special pilot event!
Weβve booked out the sauna for our community for 45 minutes to relax, warm up, connect, and enjoy some winter wellness together before heading into the water.

β’ 10:30AMβ11:15AM (please arrive by 10:15AM)

π£CHANGES TO RAINBOW SELF DEFENCE 2026 π£
We've made the decision to move our upcoming Rainbow Self Defence Course to Sunday 14 June, 9:00amβ2:00pm, at the Western Springs Garden Community Hall. Thank you @ (Kia Haumaru instructor) and (Auckland Council) for all your support with making this change possible.
This change has been made due to the nationwide protests taking place from 12:00pmβ2:00pm on Saturday as part of the national day of action in response to the proposed Definitions of Man and Woman Amendment Bill. As an organisation, we stand strongly against this proposed bill and the harmful impact it would have on our q***r, trans, non-binary, intersex, and takatΔpui whΔnau, as well as wider communities.
We know this legislation is deeply concerning for many of us, and we don't want anyone to have to choose between attending this course and joining others to stand up against what many are experiencing as a frightening and harmful proposal. Our Rainbow Self Defence course was created to support the safety, confidence, and empowerment of our communities - so it feels important that we make this change.
We look forward to protesting alongside you on the Saturday and a day of self defence on the Sunday π
