We talk a lot about the cost of living in New Zealand. But not enough about the real cost of being sick here.

For people living with blood cancer, that could mean that the medicine that could improve or extend their life is simply out of reach.

The Forbidden Pharmacy puts that reality on display.

More than 1500 people walked through The Forbidden Pharmacy.

Every medicine on these shelves is available in other countries. Every patient waiting for these treatments deserves better. This is what the medicines gap looks like - and this is what we're asking the next government to close.

The Forbidden Pharmacy has closed its doors. The fight is just beginning.

1500 people walked through. The media watched. Politicians came. They saw the medicines New Zealanders are being denied. They heard directly from the patients who need them.

Now we hold them to it. This election, unlock the medicines New Zealanders need.
