Out with the high-maintenance pavers… in with a sleek concrete upgrade 🙌

This Golflands, Auckland driveway got a fresh new look with 4kg black oxide, giving it that bold, modern finish while keeping things low-maintenance and built to last.

All poured, washed, and ready for use — with an acid wash coming in 3 weeks to really bring it to life 🔥

Another awesome project wrapped up! 🙌

This one was all about teamwork — the customer had a clear vision and took the lead on managing the entire project, and we were glad to jump in and support with all the digger work.

We moved a solid 130 cubic metres of soil to help transform the space, and the result speaks for itself — a much flatter, more usable garden ready to be enjoyed 🌱

What a way to wrap up the year! 🎉🚧

We’ve just completed our final job of the year — a solid yard widening project in Penrose, Auckland for one of our awesome repeat customers. This one was a big transformation:
✔️ Removed plenty of kerb, garden, and rock wall
✔️ Created more flat, usable storage space
✔️ Finished with flush edges and fresh bitumen sealing

The result? A tough, tidy surface built to handle heavy trucks and deliver long-lasting performance with loads of extra storage space. Exactly what this site needed 💪

Now it’s time for a well-earned break for me and the crew after a huge year of hard work. Feeling proud, grateful, and ready to recharge.

About Me

My name is Ash Harris, and I’m the owner of Auckland Pathways. I grew up in a small town called Blandford in England, where my interest in machinery started early — my dad worked in civil construction and taught me to drive a digger when I was just 13. That early introduction turned into a lifelong career, and I’ve now been working solidly in the civil construction industry for over 17 years.

Today, I run a small, locally connected business with strong ties to East Auckland. I specialise in driveways and all digger work, handling each job with the same care and attention I learned from my dad. Being a small business means I’m hands-on with every project, making sure things are done right from start to finish.

I genuinely care about delivering a high standard of work and keeping communication clear and straightforward. Customers describe us as reliable, friendly, and easy to work with — something I take real pride in.

Outside of work, I’m active and outdoorsy. I play soccer and enjoy water sports whenever I get the chance.

Remuera Project Update 🌿✨
We’re getting close to the finish line on this stunning landscape transformation in Remuera!

Nearly 100 cubic metres of soil have been moved to create a brand-new, flat area perfect for relaxing and entertaining. This space will soon feature lush, shaded artificial turf, ideal for year-round greenery with zero maintenance.

Surrounding it all, we’ve planted a 1-metre high privacy hedge that will grow into a beautiful natural screen — giving this area a secluded, high-end feel.
