The zoom lens was essential to capture as much detail as possible.

The first with the tree in front in focus, backlit with the moon.

The second a black and white, with the moon in focus with a slight shadow of the tree in front.

Both shots taken hand-held which in pretty impressed with.

I saw a perfect photo opportunity with a view of the Sky Tower through some of the trees at the Auckland Lookout on Mount Eden.

Final day in New Zealand ended in Auckland with a visit to the Auckland Lookout at Mount Eden.

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to stay for sunset, but in so happy with the shots I got 😁

Amazing first day in New Zealand was spent with a visit to the Auckland Zoo. There are so many amazing animals, including meerkats, orangutans, spider monkeys, and baboons, to name and photograph a few 😁.
