A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Open Country stand and took the time to connect with our team.
This year's stand was full of great conversations, plenty of laughs, and some impressive numbers:

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to connect with the people who make New Zealand dairy such a success and share what it means to Grow With Us. We’re already looking forward to seeing you again next year!

A message from our CEO - Mark de Lautour 📣
"As we head toward the end of the season, it’s a good moment to pause and recognise what’s been achieved on farm right across the country.
It’s been another strong year for the New Zealand dairy sector, and that comes down to the work you do every day. There is no doubt that the dairy industry is underpinning the New Zealand economy – something Wellington would do well to remember!
We know conditions haven’t stood still — markets remain unpredictable and continue to shift — but that resilience is something our industry has shown time and again.
From all of us in Open Country, thank you for your continued commitment and trust. We’re proud to be working alongside you and remain focused on providing New Zealand farmers with choice.
We’re also looking forward to catching up with many of you in person at Fieldays in June."
Great turnout at last week’s DairyNZ field day hosted by Matt & Olivia Buckley
Open Country was proud to support the day alongside Waikato Rural Support Trust and firing up the BBQ. It was a fantastic opportunity to get boots on the ground, share ideas, and back the people who make our industry what it is.
The focus on the future of non-replacement calves and the role of strong early-life systems sparked some really valuable conversations. From robotic calf rearing and dairy beef opportunities to the latest research on feeding, growth and wellbeing. There was plenty to take away that can make a real difference on farm. Thanks to DairyNZ for hosting and the Buckleys for opening their gates.
