AUTPA’S 2026 VARIETY SHOW THEME: DECADES! 🕰️🎞️

How this theme works is each act will be given a decade (eg 2000s, 1980s, 1950s) as a prompt to take inspiration from in any way they like: it could be a skit set in that decade, a song from it, a dance that involves pop-cultural elements from the time, the direction and interpretation of the prompt is yours to decide. There are 10 slots available for the variety show, each act is expected to be up to or 5 minutes long (though this is not a hard and fast rule, longer acts will be considered), and it’s first come first serve. Decades will be randomly assigned once acts have been approved, which is expected to take 24-48 hours after signing up.
For those interested in signing up, the link will be below in the description and in the linktree in bio! The show is scheduled for June 26th, and we’re very excited to see what you all have to bring to the stage 🫣🤩
