Taskforce 2026 was one to remember 💙

What an incredible achievement by our teams from Laser Group NZ and O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing at Taskforce 2026 in Fiji.

With a record 140 participants, our members, partners, suppliers and support teams came together at Nadi District School to make a lasting difference for the school's 600 students, teachers and their families.

Over an inspiring day of teamwork and community spirit, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to improve facilities and create a better learning environment for the entire school community. The impact of these efforts will be felt long after the tools were packed away.

Taskforce is about far more than building, repairing or upgrading spaces. It's about people coming together to create meaningful change and give back to communities that welcome us with open arms.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, as well as our valued sponsors whose generosity, expertise, materials and support helped make the project possible. Your contribution was instrumental in the success of Taskforce 2026.

Moments like these demonstrate the power of our network when we work together toward a common purpose.

Introducing our new Brand Ambassador: Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp .

Peter Wolfkamp has spent a lifetime on the tools. Known across New Zealand as the long-running site foreman on The Block NZ and as a trusted Newstalk ZB host, he's a licensed builder who has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with tradies throughout his career.

Peter doesn't put his name behind anything he wouldn't stand behind himself, which is exactly why he's joined the Laser team for our Charity Taskforce.

Yesterday, Peter was on the ground in Nadi alongside a crew of Laser tradies, plumbers, sparkies and volunteers from across New Zealand and Australia, delivering a full one-day upgrade of Nadi District School.

The mahi included:
🔹 LED lighting and electrical system upgrades
🔹 Air-conditioning and fan installation
🔹 Water conservation and drainage improvements
🔹 Painting, cleaning and gardening to refresh the school grounds

Peter also spent time with the students, helping build a new bookshelf for the school library.

This marks the first activation in a partnership that will continue throughout 2026, with more projects, more communities supported, and more Laser teams stepping up to make a difference.
