We made it to Akaroa!

After 6 hours and 50 minutes, sore legs and big smiles - the Ride to Provide is complete!

We’re exhausted, proud, and incredibly grateful for all the support so far. Together, we've raised close to $27,000 to help fund Safe Nights for women and children through Women’s Refuge.

We’re just $3,000 away from our final goal of $30,000 - and there’s still time to help us get there.
The donations page will stay open until 31st July.

Quick electrolyte top-up... and for some of us, a cheeky Heineken via IV (don’t worry, not really - but it’s starting to sound tempting 😅).

We’re nearly there - Akaroa is just around the corner, and so is our $30,000 fundraising goal for Women’s Refuge and the Safe Nights programme.

Third stop: Hilltop Lookout!

We’ve made it to the top and the views (and the breeze) are worth every uphill push.

Time for more refreshments, some much-needed sunblock, and… a unicycle?! Yep, Darren’s got the downhill covered in style.

Also, pro tip from the road: don’t store chocolate in your sock… just trust us on this one.

Second stop: Little River!

We’ve hit the halfway mark and the team is still going strong. Time for some fuel, a quick breather, and a group check-in before we take on the big hills ahead.

First stop done in Tai Tapu!

Quick break for electrolytes, snacks and a bit of a stretch. Spirits are high and the energy even higher as we continue our journey toward Akaroa.

Today’s the Day!

After weeks of planning, fundraising, and training, the Ride to Provide kicks off this morning. 86kms from Christchurch to Akaroa, all in support of Women’s Refuge and their incredible Safe Nights programme.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we've already raised over $25,000, funding more than 1,260 Safe Nights for women and children experiencing family violence. But the need is still urgent - and we’re aiming for $30,000.
