NOYA
Elegant private members club, in centuries-old neo-classical manor in the heat of Kathmandu.
Now, a more leisurely wander through NOYA.
Return at another time, another season, and you may notice something different. A glass lamp where there was once open light, a grandfather clock keeping time where a table once stood; small objects quietly finding their place.
Like any thing living, NOYA is always in conversation with time. Things shift, are restored, replaced, rediscovered. Not out of necessity, but because places with life in them continue to change, making room for new stories while the past settles into wood, stone, metal, and cloth.
So wander slowly. Look again. You may notice something you missed the first time.

In the 18th century, a house was built, shaped by the sensibilities of Kathmandu's past.
Today, it lives on as NOYA. A restored neoclassical heritage home that has gathered itself brick-by-brick while Kathmandu changes around it.
As custodians of this shared history, we welcome travelers seeking stillness and quiet in the echoes of the durbar's past.
Here, light moves across antique windows, earthquake-reclaimed wood, traditional tapestries, and artifacts that carry stories for those willing to look closer.

We’re immensely proud and overjoyed at the incredible achievement of Mr. Suraj Poudyal, a member of the NOYA Family, on having successfully summitted Mt. Everest this morning. We have known him as a man of grit and determination and today we feel extremely humbled by his achievement. We now pray for his safe return home and cannot wait to hear about his journey!
