David Erland Isaksen, medlem av Skien menighet i Jesu Kristi Kirke av Siste Dagers Hellige, holder åpningsforedrag på arrangementet "Demokratiet i krise" lørdag 16. november kl. 12:30-16:00 på Litteraturhuset i Oslo. Gratis inngang.

David er førsteamanuensis i kommunikasjon med doktorgrad i retorikk og skriving og interesse for offentlig debatt, argumentasjon, vitenskapsretorikk og demokratiutvikling.

Demokratiet i krise Globalt sett opplever mange land en tilbakegang i sin demokratiske utvikling. Seminaret søker å belyse de komplekse utfordringene som denne utviklingen innebærer.

Denne søndagen, 17. november! Vi har samlet hygieneprodukter til rundt 90 hygienepakker til Krisesentrene! Hjelp oss å sortere og pakke dette. Etter det spiser vi sammen og ser budskapet fra eldste og søster Bednar: Things As They Really Are 2.0!

Vi viser Things as They Really Are 2.0 på Senteret søndag 17. november. Det blir også et kort tjenesteprosjekt og middag i sammenheng med visningen av budskapet. Fifteen years ago, I delivered an address in a worldwide devotional for young adults titled “Things as They Really Are.” I discussed the blessings and challenges of technology in our lives.
