We’re excited to announce that Nona Simpson will be joining as the new drummer, stepping in for the magnificent Romain Emeriau.

Romains time with BUSKAS has been nothing short of incredible, and we’re deeply grateful for the power, creativity, and dedication he brought to the band.

Nona is a heavy-hitting drummer known for his rowdy, no-holds-barred style behind the kit. We’ve played together for seven years in the band JAGGU, building a solid bond through countless gigs and tours all across Norway. That shared history brings a new fire to BUSKAS, and we can't wait for you to experience it.

His first gig with BUSKAS will be June 7th at Vaterland, part of Musikkfest Oslo. We hit the stage upstairs 2230 in the main venue.

This show kicks off a brand new era for the band.

buskas
buskas er en norsk/fransk duo startet i 2022. musikken deres er en blanding av tunge trommer og drømmende fuzz, beskrevet som “shaman doom from the void.” de er ferske, men har allerede spilt inn sin debutskive med jørgen ø. berg, som slippes 2. november på vinyltroll records. singelen “desiderium” er ute nå.

duoen har spilt på flere scener, inkludert helix festivalen, blitz huset, og som support for barren womb på vaterland, noe som førte til en booking på årets høstsabbat. buskas har releasefest i københavn 2. november, med iron bra og goatsmoker.
