Dutch-made extrusion and recycling systems for material validation, recycling, and controlled filament production. But we didn’t stop there.
Back in 2014, we started tweaking our very first filament maker prototype. Along the way, many improvements have been made to what is known today as the Composer and Precision Filament Makers. We took the next step and decided to make it our priority to create products that fully covered the whole filament extrusion circle. From there came our SHR3D IT plastic shredder which later evolved into the all-new GP20 Shredder Hybrid, alongside the Airid Polymer dryer, which enhances the quality of the 3D printing filament. We're delighted to announce that we've partnered with E3D to provide advanced options for our Filament Maker X10 and Filament Maker TWO!
Both nozzles solve different problems, and switching between them takes no additional tooling.
🔧 E3D Hardened Tool Steel Nozzle: increases wear resistance. 60–65 HRC, built to hold its geometry through continuous extrusion of abrasive material: carbon fiber, glass fiber, ceramics, regrinds and highly filled compounds.
🔧 E3D Copper Nozzle: enhances thermal conductivity. ~300 W/m·K, up to 450 °C, for high-temperature polymers such as PEEK, PEKK and PEI. Heat reaches the tip evenly, which prevents crystallization inside the nozzle.
Each nozzle is available in 2mm and 3 mm and all on the same mounting.

We print parts from it for our own production lines, replacing parts that used to be CNC-milled. One is a filament stabilizer bracket now fitted to FMX10’s Cooling Path.

Filament Maker X10 is built to produce custom filament autonomously.

Filament Maker X10 turns high-value waste — powder, failed parts — into production-grade filament. It runs continuously and produces more than 20 spools per day, monitored remotely.

Validating an in-house recycling solution for this customer's ABS waste.
Shredded into 2-3mm flakes, then Melt Flow Index tested — ~1.2g in 1 minute scales to ~12 g/10min, inside our 5-15 processable window. From there, straight to filament on Filament Maker TWO.

High-temperature nylon, stable above 200°C, reinforced with carbon fiber for extra stiffness — genuinely demanding to extrude consistently. This run dials in the parameter profile so the preset ships already solved for this material.
