Ter afsluiting van het jaar gaan we nog een aantal keer als een komeet en kun je de sterren van de hemel komen dansen!💫💥

Wij mogen jullie laten dansen bij de eerste midzomerfair in het archeon! Wie zijn erbij?

🌠 𝙲𝚎𝚕𝚝𝚒𝚌 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 🌠 neemt je mee op een muzikale reis door de betoverende klanken van Keltische en Scandinavische folk, gegoten in frisse, eigentijdse arrangementen. Verwacht een samenspel van lyrische vioolmelodieën, rijk harmonisch spel en de warme begeleiding van snaar- en toetsinstrumenten.

💫 Met flitsende reels, dansbare polska’s en meeslepende walsen is stilzitten geen optie. Laat je meevoeren door de magie van deze folkformatie!

The deadline is near, but you can still vote for the Celtcast Fantasy Awards! You can find us in the "off stage" and "best live act" categories, along with a long list of other awesome bands and acts.

The voting deadline is also the start of a new year, with lots of folk music, dancing, and new harmonies. We wish you a reel good 2025!

The most obvious reason is to support whoever (artist/event/merchant etc.) added some (more) colour to your life during the last year and show your appreciation.

If this doesn't convince you though, there's another reason, which we as a team (who aren't allowed to vote) also get to enjoy and that is using the crowd intelligence of all previous voters to discover lots of new names of festivals, songs, bands, merchants etc. to check out and maybe enjoy in 2025.

It is truly amazing how much great stuff is out there, within the universe of Fantasy and Folk, that one hasn't come across yet. Het is bijna zo ver: morgen en overmorgen spelen wij op de midwinter fair in het Archeon ! Waar je ons kunt vinden:

Zaterdag
- 13:30-13:45 badhuis podium
- 15:00-15:45 park RT kruispunt
- 18:00-18:45 kloostertent

Zondag
- 11:45-12:30 park RT kruispunt
- 13:30-14:15 badhuis podium
- 17:15-18:00 kloostertent

We proberen om zo goed mogelijk op te gaan in de magische sfeer die er zal hangen, dus we zullen iets anders gekleed zijn dan op bovenstaande foto. Wij hopen jullie allemaal te zien!

We mogen het nu officieel de wereld in slingeren: wij spelen op de Midwinter Fair in het Archeon op 7 én 8 december! We hopen jullie allemaal dansend terug te vinden in het klooster, het badhuis of gewoon buiten naast een kampvuurtje.

💫🌠 Celtic Constellation op Midwinter Fair! 🌠💫

🎻 🪗 Celtic Constellation brengt traditionele Keltische en Scandinavische folk in moderne arrangementen. Judith Be is een ervaren balfolk muzikant en brengt lyrische vioolpartijen. Haar melodieuze spel wordt ritmisch en harmonisch aangevuld door violiste Astrid van der Niet. Zij worden ondersteund door de warme klanken van Boet Hoitinks Ierse bouzouki, gitaar en accordeon. Celtic Constellation speelt flitsende reels, dansbare polska’s en meeslepende walsen. Probeer daar maar eens bij stil te blijven zitten!

G major jig set: The Idle Road, Blackthorn Stick, Arthur Darley's At a gig in Hoogvliet (the place, not the supermarket) we played a jig set we learned from Martin McGinley. Enjoy some G major Madness!
