𝟏𝟔.𝟎𝟎 - 𝟏𝟔.𝟒𝟓 / 𝟏𝟕.𝟒𝟓 - 𝟏𝟖.𝟑𝟎

Wat als we een intiem moment tussen vrouwelijke lichamen omarmen met heel ons zijn? De zielentocht van twee performers, twee lichamen en twee energieën is vertaald naar een choreografie die je raakt in de vorm van herkenning en ongemak.
In 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐬 maakt de toeschouwer een reis door identiteit, gender en intimiteit, waarin zij zichzelf tegenkomen.

Het Bijlmer Parktheater produceert met 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐬 de eerste voorstelling van Sarah Huygens Jawla binnen het nieuwe makers-traject van het Fonds Podiumkunsten. Tijdens dit traject krijgt de Vlaamse maker met West-Afrikaanse roots twee jaar de kans om zichzelf verder te verdiepen als dansmaker.
𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐬 is ontstaan vanuit haar fascinatie voor de vrouw met de focus op de q***r community waar zij zichzelf mee identificeert. Hierin onderzoekt ze de grenzen van zowel zichzelf als haar spelers in interdisciplinair bewegings- en danstheater.

JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience is currently screening a digital festival iteration hosting a digital space doe South African, African and international contemporary dance and dance makers. This year also including a piece by and one by and as part of the open horizons platform. Video's will stay online after the screening on August 29.
