Yesterday at Clone Records Rotterdam. The Give Your Body reissue is still available, relatively cheap compared to Discogs prices. The Djax compilation is doin’ well.

It's real... Djax-Up-Beats 'The Acid Trip' compilation on Delsin Records, with our track 'Aftermath v1.2'. Nice triple-pack vinyl and 14 track digital release, available in all shops now.

This track was originally released on the 'Baincloud' album in 1997. It was recorded 3 years earlier as an alternative take on the version that was on the 'As It Takes' EP. The title track of that one will be reissued as well, out in a few weeks. And there's more to come in this series. Much more....

Big news! Comin’ up in March: two Random XS tracks on the Djax-Up-Beats 1990-2005: Volume 1 - The Acid Trip compilations, released by Delsin Records.
‘Aftermath V1.2’ is featured on the 3x12” album, ‘As It Takes’ is on one of the additional EP’s. Alongside many other acid tracks from the golden days of Djax-Up. With artwork by the one-and-only Alan Oldham and extensive liner-notes.

And this is only Volume 1. Of 6… So more to follow later this year!

Can't wait till our 40-year old machine (>30 years in posession) will get a new brain!
New v5 firmware solving all major and minor issues and annoyances. And adding much anticipated new features, like switching from play to write mode without stopping. Finally!

It will also be fully serviced, since dragging it around the world to countless clubs and the use by many other artists (including Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin) has left some marks.

Yesterday 30 years ago Frank de Groodt joined Random XS on stage for the very first time. Taking his duty on the MS-20 synth VERY seriously! ;-)

The year before this gig we spend many hours in the studio recording his first solo releases and the joined release 'Encounter'. And up till now we always kept perfoming live and recording occasionally.
