Yesterday was an extra good day at the KATE Office. Why? Because besides a very fruitful meeting with the whole team, it included Subway for lunch 🥖, pizza for dinner 🍕, and pool for dessert 🎱!

All in all a very successful company outing if you ask us!

Good news from Finland...and the Netherlands! 💪🏼

Exquance Software sets up joint proptech venture Finnish firm Exquance Software and Dutch company KATE Innovations have started a joint venture for a real estate valuation platform.

Today, we officially announce that we will start a joint venture with Exquance Software. The goal of the collaboration is to create the ultimate next-generation valuation platform in Europe. The new company, KATE-XQ, will combine a highly configurable and connectable workflow processing platform and unique financial modelling platform into one platform that supports the full range of real estate advisory services.

Yesterday afternoon, we had our second TechTalk. This time, our Front-end Wizard Thijs Smudde enlighted the rest of Team KATE about the advantages of (styled components) compared to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Nice one Thijs!

In the context of continuous improvement, we held the first edition of our internal TechTalk today. Our 'techies' came up with this idea in order to exchange knowledge and stay up-to-date about the latest software. Our Chief Technology Officer Terry Hendrix kicked off with his 'lecture' about some of the techniques behind KATE's Core!

We are noticing that we receive more and more questions by companies outside the Netherlands about how our IT solutions can help them in their digital transformation. As a result, we were invited by several interested parties in Germany to present our software, and so last Thursday, Erik Schlooz flew to Berlin in order to showcase KATE. Luckily, after his appointments, Erik had some time to walk through the old streets of Berlin, and we couldn't resist sharing some of the pictures he took. What an impressing city, don't you agree?

PS: next week another interesting destination is on the agenda. Stay tuned to hear where KATE will be going coming Monday and Tuesday!
