Andalusia is so big, it could be its own country.

If you’re going south this fall, these are 5️⃣ must do climbs in the area:

1. Pico Veleta: the highest climb in Spain and Europe 🇪🇺, and mostly covered in snow is the altitude challenge you should do. Steep, long, thin air. But beautiful!

2. Carretera de la Cabra: think snake shaped bends, steep ascents and beautiful views. Either from Granada or from Costa tropical

3. Puerto de las Palomas (Grazalema). 12km at 6% is perfect for a good 45-60 mins of suffering. But the views and the hairpins… 😍

4. Puerto el Boyar. Combine this one with las Palomas from the popular spot of Ronda for a great day out.

5. Peñas Blancas from Estepona. 15k and 1000m of altitude make you want to turn around. But this beauty is not to be missed

The Netherlands isn’t known for its climbs, but there are some really nice ones.

1. Bemelerberg - Limburg - as seen in the video. 924 meters, 6.4% max, 4.6 average. It features a really nice photo corner

2. Col du VAM - Drenthe - this unique climb on top of a former dump is 63 meters high now. It features 14% gradients on only 817m lengths. It’s just a bucketlist climb

3. Kopje van Bloemendaal - Noord-Holland - famous because former pro Gerrie Knetemann is connected to this climb. 1500 m and only a 3.6-% average but there’s some steep parts up to 7%

4. Posbank climb - Gelderland - this area is really populair. Use the schietbergse weg and you have an unusual long climb of 2.2km

5. Amerongse Berg - Utrecht - featured in La Vuelta 2022, this is the climb to ride on the .nl take the north approach from Overberg. 1.4km and 3.7% average is nice for a good effort.
