From 1 September 2026, CTVrede will introduce facial verification in combination with the CargoCard for drivers at its terminals. This marks another step in further digitalising and optimising the access process.

The transition contributes to an efficient flow for drivers and reliable identity verification for CTVrede. Together, we are working towards safe, efficient and future ready access to the terminals.

From 1 January 2027, facial verification will be mandatory for drivers who want to access CTVrede’s terminals. Until then, a transition period will apply.

Secure Logistics is also here for you throughout the summer! Do your drivers still need to complete the ECT Safety Test? During the holiday period, they can visit the XS-Kiosk at Service Point Maasvlakte Plaza during our additional evening opening hours.
