Ecstatic Dance Rotterdam
Delen
Ecstatic Dance Rotterdam is a Freeform Conscious Dance Space Ecstatic Dance had his origin in Hawaii on the dance floors of Kalani and started in 2000.
Bodhitara was the Dj who brought fresh mix tapes each and every week on Sunday mornings. Hawaii was the perfect place for this community to take root. The dancers went to all new heights of emobdies expression. Donna Carroll and Tyler Blank, both experienced magic, evolution and community during their dance journeys at the ecstatic dance in Hawaii. Desiring a taste of this expansive transformation energy and community dance in the Sant Francisco Bay area. So they started Ecstatic Dance in San Francisco. Both Big Island Ecstatic Dance and Ecstatic Dance SF Bay have since inspired communities around the world to start their own Conscious Dances. Ecstatic Dance is a meditation of dance, light and community. A dance full of exploration to free your spirit and celebrate life. It is a unique dance experience where you can fully express yourself in a safe and hold space. A space where you can be vulnerable and meet each other in wholeness. Expressing yourself freely, jumping up and down, go beyond your borders, lay on the ground, sit still, be wild, set yourself free and have fun. Let's raise our heartbeat and shine as brilliant stars. We are the manifestations of Light and love. Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
Ecstatic Dance is a Drug, Shoe & Alcohol Free Space. Please also refrain from photos, video, and shoes & scents. Ecstatic Dance Rotterdam is not a hunting ground or a tantra club. Ecstatic Dance Rotterdam is a save haven for shy and vulnerable people also. Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond...
If you'd rather not dance with someone, or are ending a dance with someone,
simply thank them by placing your hands in prayer at your heart. Namaste... Thank You. "My Spirit Recognizes Yours"
Ecstatic Dance is happening worldwide:
Hawaii, San Francisco, Berlin, New York, Seattle, London, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Belgium, Barcelona.....
