Intuitively painted portrait from memory. The deity whose cyclical death brings every solar year the rebirth of Spring shares their name with that of my mother.

As the exhibition comes to a close today, I wish to express my gratitude to all whom came to attend our exhibition ar , a new ecosystem from which we may cultivate our practice, organizing more public (art) events in the future together with the fellows of this old and long building at Banierstraat.

Images of an empty furnace awaiting fire. Portable, it is rolled out, unfolded, hung up and set alight in places wishing to accomodate it, and the roar that comes when it is activated by ritual. It is transported from place to place like a travelling circus, searching for materia to dissolve and coagulate.

My contribution to the 50m² Painting Marathon at exhibition, Noordbrabants Museum

I was honored to participate in the 50m² Painting Marathon, where 50 artists transformed one square meter of the museum’s wall into their canvas over the span of 24 hours. The works debuted at the exhibition opening on March 15th and will be on view until March 23rd, followed by an auction on June 4th.
