Join us to see what makes this game so special and why it has stood against the test of time ✨ We'll start with a short presentation covering the basics, from how the pieces move to general strategies and tactics. We'll tailor the level to what's useful for the group, and if you're an experienced player, you're warmly invited to share your knowledge too :) Afterwards, we'll set up games to play in our lovely garden, under the gentle warmth of the sun.

This event is open to FLINTA people only (women, le***an, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people - no cis men). Most chess spaces are dominated by cis men, so we wanted to create one that makes room for everyone else

Coming Thursday we have a special Tafelen planned for you - a BBQ dinner! There will be multiple options to choose from and we will be making use of the garden at the new location (Sint Servaasklooster 39) ✨ It's a beautiful spot and amazing food, don't miss out!

Our next Silent Reading is on the horizon! On the 31st of May we will gather around at St Jan's to for some quiet space away from the noise for a cozy reading afternoon ✨ You are welcome to bring a book, and we also will have a few on hand just in case. The topic for this month is love, whether love between partners, friends, family. There will be a small introduction of the theme, an introduction round to get to know everyone, time for reading and then a discussion at the end 📚

Whether you are currently involved, were once active as a student, volunteer, board member, staff member, alumnus, or contributed in your own unique way, you are part of our story.

As we celebrate 50 years of the InnBetween/Tafelstraat13, we would love to reconnect and celebrate together with everyone who has made Innbetween what it is today. Join us as we honour the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future.
