The M137, M275, and M285 V12 is one of the most extraordinary engines ever fitted to a road car. 48 valves, 12 cylinders, twin turbos on the later versions. When it runs right, nothing sounds or feels like it.

When the ignition transformer module starts to fail, that changes fast.

Watch out for:

Engine misfires or running rough
Not firing on all cylinders
Check engine light on the dash
Loss of power and smoothness

The transformer module sits at the heart of the ignition system. When it goes, spark delivery to one bank of cylinders is compromised. The V12 loses what makes it special.

💡 Tip: Always replace both coil rails, the transformer module, and all spark plugs at the same time. Replacing just one component without the others is a false economy. Order the complete package and save on the set.

The ABC return pressure accumulator is one of the most overlooked components in the hydraulic system and one of the hardest to source. It dampens the pressure differences between the front and rear struts, keeping the system balanced and protecting everything connected to it.

When it fails, you'll notice:

Harsh or inconsistent ride
Pressure fluctuations in the system
Increased wear on pump and struts
ABC warning or fault code on the dash

This is a rare part. Finding it in good condition is nearly impossible through official channels, which is exactly why we made sure to have it available.

We offer two versions. A new aftermarket part available from stock, and a hand-rebuilt original for those who prefer it. Stock on the rebuilt version is very limited, so don't wait too long.

The plunger sensor inside your ABC shock absorber is the component that tells the system exactly where the strut is positioned. It measures movement in real time so the system can react and adjust.

When it fails, the system loses position data. And without that data, the ABC system can't do its job.

You may notice:

ABC warning or fault code on the dash
Incorrect or unstable ride height at the rear
Strut not responding correctly despite no visible leak
System defaulting to a fixed ride height

The good news — the sensor is available separately. You don't need to replace the entire strut. Just click it in and the strut is back in action.
