Nesting birds may be protected under local or federal law. Removing a nest or blocking access without a permit can carry serious legal and financial consequences.

3️⃣ Do your maintenance and cleaning teams have the right training and PPE to handle bird debris safely?

Droppings carry zoonotic diseases, including histoplasmosis. Workers need appropriate respiratory protection, hazard communication training, and fall protection when working at height.
