“You’re not a baby, whether you eat or not is your business” — wife says, stirs reaction after husband stopped eating her food for 4 days

An X user has shared a story about a man who tried to punish his wife by refusing to eat her food after a misunderstanding.

According to the post, the man avoided everything his wife cooked for four days but continued dropping money for food at home.

During that period, the wife reportedly kept cooking and serving his meals as usual. Each day, she would place the food on the table, and when it remained untouched, she would discard it and prepare another one the next day without raising the issue.

After being advised by colleagues, the man later reconciled with his wife and asked why she never questioned his actions.

Her response, according to the post, was: “You’re not a baby. As long as you’re providing the food, whether you eat it or not is your business.”

The post stirred reactions from other users.

One user wrote, “E for energy. Gone are the days when women would cry or beg over things like this. This generation no send.”

Another questioned the man’s action, asking why he would reject his wife’s food over a misunderstanding.

Another user described the woman’s response as a “silent strength,” noting that some people don’t need to speak much to make a point.

💥BREAKING! Global Outrage as Iran Launches BANNED Cluster Bombs in Israel Targeting Civilians

Damage was caused at several sites in Rishon Lezion after Iran fired a ballistic missile carrying a cluster bomb warhead at central Israel on Saturday morning, according to rescue forces.

Footage shows craters caused by the bomblets. Damage was also caused to an empty daycare. No injuries are reported.

Note: Cluster Bombs are banned munition globally and it's use in warfare is considered a war crime.

Banned munitions are weapons prohibited by international treaties due to their indiscriminate nature and severe, long-lasting humanitarian consequences, particularly on civilians. Key examples include anti-personnel mines, chemical/biological weapons, blinding lasers, and cluster munitions. Over 120 nations signed the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, which prohibits their production, transfer, and use.

Nigeria emerges 4th most terrorised country in the world ahead of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan.

The Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2026, published by the Institute for Economics and Peace on Thursday, March 19, shows that Nigeria is the Sahel country with the most terror de@ths and incidents in 2025.

According to GTI, 70 per cent of terror d£aths in 2025 occurred in Nigeria, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Pakistan.

Top on the ranking of the most terrorised country in the world is Pakistan, second most terrorised country is Burkina Faso, Niger Republic is the third, and Nigeria follows as the fourth.

The GTI disclosed that most of the terror attacks in Nigeria are perpetrated by members of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram.

“Just under 70 per cent of de@ths from terrorism occurred in only five countries: Pakistan, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Niger, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC),” the report states.

“Nigeria recorded the largest increase in 2025, with fatalities rising by 46 per cent to 750. Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram were responsible for 80 per cent of all terrorism deaths in the country.

“Five countries in the Sahel recorded falls in both the number of deaths and incidents from the previous year. Nigeria is the only country in the region to experience an increase in both categories.”

The GTI stated that there were 237 more terror d£aths recorded in 2025 than in the year before, which is a 13 per cent increase. In the timeframe, 243 people were injured and 171 incidents were recorded.

“Nigeria recorded the largest increase and has experienced a steady rise in terrorism‑related d£aths since 2022, recording 237 more fatalities in 2025 than in 2024,” the report stated.

“The increase in terrorist activity comes amidst a surge in both ideological and criminal violence in the country. ISWAP and Boko Haram were responsible for 82.8 per cent of all terrorism d£aths in the country in 2025. The rise in Islamic State activity led to US-backed strikes on the group in northwestern Nigeria in late 2025.”
