Today on EMEND Crush Wednesday, we crush and reveal the EMEND WED 2024 COMPETITION Champions 🏆.

EMEND WED COMPETITION 2024

The 2024 Edition of the Annual EMEND WED ESSAY COMPETITION in commemoration of the UN's World Environment Day for Nigerian undergraduates in Partnership with the Ekiti State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

This year's edition which marks the 5th commenced on Sunday 5th May through Wednesday 15th May, 2024.
During this period, we received 89 entries from students representing over 20 tertiary institutions across

The assessment process commenced immediately after sorting and went through different stages of grading in the hands of our brilliant, resourceful and respected assessors after which 10 most outstanding participants based on their entries got invited to a virtual interview on Tuesday 4th June, 2024.

On this very great day of the United Nations World Environment Day, we would love to thank everyone who has in one way or the other over the last five (5) years supported the Emeraldscape Environmental Development (EMEND) ideas and dream for a better and safer for all through your volunteering efforts, donations, participation at events, collaborations, referrals, prayers, kind words, criticisms and the like. You have helped us stand strong and tall thus far.

This year's theme which concerns Our Land, Our Future, We Are is another clarion call to all and sundry to add consciousness into every effort and venture we undertake with the future in perspective. Whatever efforts you put into restoration today will outlive you and the impact will be felt by the future.

This year's in collaboration with the Ekiti State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources had the topic REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE: A pathway to sustainable food systems. We received almost a hundred entries from brilliant minds across the tertiary institutions in in less than 2 weeks.
