A healthy environment creates healthier communities! 🌱💙

To mark World Environment Day 2026, RIVCHPP is joining hands with TREM Elekahia National Transformation Directorate and the Clean Rivers Initiative to promote environmental sustainability and healthier living across Rivers State.

From environmental awareness talks to sanitation and recycling initiatives, this partnership reminds us that preventing disease starts with protecting the spaces where we live, work, and raise our families.

At RIVCHPP, we believe that quality healthcare goes beyond hospital walls. It begins with clean surroundings, healthy habits, and access to affordable healthcare when you need it.

Together, let’s build a cleaner, greener, and healthier Rivers State.

💙 RIVCHPP… Protecting Households from Health Poverty.

RIVCHPP continues to bring healthcare closer to the people.

Our team recently visited Oboburu Community in ONELGA, where residents were enrolled into the health insurance scheme, benefited from free NIN registration, and learned more about the importance of good health-seeking behaviour.

The outreach also provided an opportunity to engage community leaders and address concerns about healthcare access, helping to build stronger and healthier communities across Rivers State.

Yesterday was World No To***co Day 2026.

This year’s theme, “Unmasking the Appeal,” reminds us that to***co and ni****ne products often come with attractive packaging and marketing, but the health risks remain the same.

At RIVCHPP, we believe prevention is better than cure. Through access to healthcare services, routine screenings, early detection, and treatment support, we are helping Rivers residents make healthier choices and live healthier lives.

Don’t be fooled by the packaging. Choose your health. Choose your future.

Together, we can protect our families and build a healthier Rivers State.

Three years ago, the people of Rivers State entrusted leadership to a man at a defining moment in our history.

Three years later, that trust continues to find expression in courage, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.

Leadership is often measured by titles and positions. True leadership, however, is measured by impact, service, and the ability to keep moving forward even in the face of challenges.

Today, we celebrate His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, DSc, Governor of Rivers State, on three years of purposeful leadership and service.

At the Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP), we have witnessed firsthand the Governor's commitment to improving the lives of ordinary citizens through policies and investments that expand access to healthcare and strengthen social protection.

On behalf of the Management, Staff, and over one hundred thousand beneficiaries whose lives have been positively impacted through health insurance coverage, we express our sincere appreciation for your leadership, support, and dedication to a healthier Rivers State.

Congratulations, Your Excellency, on this remarkable milestone.

May the years ahead bring even greater progress, prosperity, and opportunities for the good people of Rivers State.

Happy 3rd Anniversary in Office.

The rains have arrived, and so has the risk of malaria.

Every year, the rainy season leads to a rise in mosquito breeding and malaria infections, placing families under unnecessary health and financial pressure.

Don't wait until illness strikes.

With RIVCHPP, residents can access quality healthcare services including malaria treatment, consultations, medications, and laboratory investigations when they need them most.

Protect yourself. Protect your family. Protect your future.

Rainy Season Is Here. Protect Your Health.
