𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗖𝗛?

If you are a Lutheran, your Church was founded by Martin Luther, an ex- monk of the Catholic Church, in the year 1517.

If you belong to the Church of England, your Church was founded by King Henry VIII in the year 1534 because the Pope would not grant him a divorce with the right to remarry.

If you are a Presbyterian, your Church was founded by John Knox in Scotland in the year 1560. Influenced by John Calvin,

If you are an Episcopalian, your Church was an offshoot of the Church of England founded by Samuel Seabury in the American colonies in the 17th century.

If you are a Congregationalist, your Church was originated by Robert Brown in Holland in 1582.

If you worship with the Salvation Army, your sect began with William Booth in London in 1865.

If you are a Christian Scientist, you look to 1879 as the year in which your religion was born and to Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy as its founder.

If you belong to one of the religious organizations known as 'Church of the Nazarene," "Pentecostal Gospel," "Holiness Church," "Jehovah's Witnesses," "Church of God", your Church is one of the hundreds of new sects founded by men within the past century.

If you are Catholic, you know that the Church of Christ was founded in the year 33 by Jesus Christ the Son of God, and it is still the same Church.

I am Catholic, not because of the Pope.

I am Catholic not because of the Cardinals.

I am Catholic not because of her priests, deacons or religious.

I am Catholic not because of her selfless missionaries.

I am Catholic not because of monks, nuns or her seminarians.

I am Catholic not because of her courageous lay faithfuls.

I am Catholic not because it is the longest institution ever in the history of humanity.

I am Catholic not because it is the number one altruistic charity institution ever in the history of mankind.

I am Catholic not because it is the Mother Church.

I am Catholic not because of her solemn music at her different liturgies.

I am Catholic not because of her wonderful histories in shaping mankind out of darkness into civilization.

I am Catholic not because of her colourful lectors, cantors, choirs, acolytes etc.

I am Catholic not because of her beautiful basilicas, churches, seminaries, hospitals, monasteries, schools, orphanages etc.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗠 𝗜 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖?

🥀 -- "I am Catholic because it was the only Church truly founded by Jesus Christ our Blessed Lord* (any other church has human foundation).

🥀-- "I am Catholic because it is Apostolic, Universal, Catholic and Holy"

🥀-- "I am Catholic because it is guided by the learnt Magisterium through the Holy Scripture with the Holy Spirit"

🥀-- "I am Catholic because there is power in the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary ,the Saints and the Angels of God"

🥀-- "I am Catholic because there is the Forgiveness of sins, the communion of saints, the resurrection of the dead and the life eternal"*...

I know you feel so s.ad, but do not worry, you’ll like how it will end. My own sa.dness, however, is not so much about them giving Obi’s win to another. No! It is rather more about this: why suffer people and bring them out under hot sun and under the rain, why spend the billions in the process, whereas you’ve already decided on whom to appoint winner!

Why give head.ache and depre.ssion to many! Why!? Let the ruling prty do the citizens the tiniest kindness of appointing privately after every four years whom they’ve chosen, and stop wasting the money we don’t have and sending many to si.ck beds in the name of elec.tion. Sham.eless nation!!

Meanwhile, those who are born yesterday and today I pi.ty them. I saw one of them say ‘today is my birthday’, and another lashed at her “are you stu.pid! What’s happy about your birthday!” 😁 . And another said “happy new month”, and someone was wondering if he was normal at all 😁 . Eyaa, don’t worry, God’s child, cheer up, you’ll like how it will end.
