South Africa’s Ambassador to France, 🇫🇷 Nathi Mthethwa, was reported missing by his wife, she received a message in which he apologised and expressed an intent to take his own life.

Hours later, Mthethwa fell off from the hotel window, his body was discovered at the foot of the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile Hotel, where he was staying.

According to the prosecutors’ statement, investigators found that a window safety mechanism in his hotel room had been forced open.

In a post made by the former governor of Anambra state, in his official twitter account, Peter Obi revealed that him and some other igbo senators alongside the labour party governorship candidate for Lagos state and the coordinator of Obidient movement in Lagos State, visited the site of the demolished buildings in Lagos international Trade fair center.

Peter Obi condemned this act by Lagos state government, stating that the buildings were pulled down despite traders having obtained the requisite approval. He described this action as a test of Impunity, Justice and compassion.According to the Governor;

"A society that seeks to make progress must protect enterprise, encourage productivity and defend the dignity of its citizens. Incidents like this should have no place in a nation that aspires to fairness, stability and shared prosperity"
