We Mourn the Exit of a Loyal Member and Dear Brother, Mr. Babawale Adekunle

Today, I mourn the passing of a loyal ally and a dedicated member of the Ajoshe family, Mr. Babawale Adekunle (Baba Tosin). Mr. Babawale was so many things to our movement and he contributed immensely to sustain the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that we had established . As our secretary, he worked tirelessly to bring structure to our movement. He ensured that the voice of all was duly documented in meetings and his documentation was always apt. His forthrightness, resilience, and commitment to all he was involved in including striving for a better life for himself and his loved ones inspired us all. He strived hard with integrity and decency in his endeavours and he believed in the virtues of being industrious.

His untimely death though a rude shock to us reminds us of life's fragility. I pray that God comforts his family and the entire Ajoshe community.

May his legacy live on through his children, and may they be blessed with care and support being his expectations.

Let us all draw strength from Baba Tosin's sincerity and forthrightness.

May his memory inspire us to make the most of our time and continue striving for our shared goals."

Abdulmajeed Condoles Essa B Ward Offa Over Demise Of Former Chairman

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has sent heartfelt condolences to Offa APC members and most expecially the good people of Essa B ward, Offa over the demise of their former chairman Alhaji Abdulazeez olanbiwoninu

Alhaji Abdulazeez olanbiwoninu reportedly passed away after a brief illness.

In his condolence statement, Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed prays Allah to grant the deceased patriarch Al-Jannah Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings.

“I commiserate with the Immediate family of late Alhaji Abdulazeez Olanbiwoninu, Offa APC community and Essa B Ward Offa, on this sad demise. I pray that Allah will grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” the statement read.

Abdulmajeed congratulates Dr. Ghali Alaaya on NNPCL board appointment

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has congratulated Dr. Muhammad Ghali Alaaya on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a Non-Executive Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

Noting that the distinguished academic is worthy and deserving of the appointment, Abdulmajeed said the petroleum company will benefit from his wealth of experience and progressive ideas.

“I received the news of the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Ghali Alaaya, one of our forthright and consistent elder statesmen in Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) and a top ally of our principal the Executive Governor of Kwara State Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, with joy.

Abdulmajeed celebrates Emir of Ilorin on 28th turbaning anniversary

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR on the 28th anniversary of his coronation November 11, 2023.

In a statement issued by his media team on Saturday to commemorate the anniversary, Abdulmajeed said the ascension of the Emir to the throne of his forebears has brought about consolidation on progressive feats and development in Ilorin Emirate.

Abdulmajeed felicitates Amb. Yahaya Seriki on NSEG Fellowship

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has felicitated Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki on his bagging the honorary fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Economic Geologists (NSEG).

Yahaya Seriki, a top investor in the mining sector, was elected along with the Minister of Solid Minerals Hon. Dele Alake and other personalities by the NSEG Council at its 2nd International Conference and Exhibition in Abuja.

In a statement by his media team on Monday, Abdulmajeed said the honorary fellowship was a great recognition of Seriki's contributions to the development of the mining sector and the society in general.

Yahaya Seriki is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kursi Investments Limited.

“I congratulate Amb. Yahaya Seriki on this deserving recognition of his sterling contributions to the growth of the solid minerals sector. Abdulmajeed congratulates Barr. Jumoke Gafar on appointment as SA to President

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has congratulated former Principal Private Secretary to Kwara State Governor, Barr. Jumoke Gafar, on her new appointment as Special Assistant to the President on Coordination and Intergovernmental Agency Relations.

Barr. Jumoke will serve the President in the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation.

In a statement by his media team on Sunday, Abdulmajeed said Barr. Jumoke was deserving of the appointment considering her track record of commitment, diligence and excellence.

“We saw the level of commitment and diligence Barr. Jumoke Gafar brought to bear in her former role as PPS to the Governor. I am certain that she will do even more in this new role in serving the president and our great country. The appointment is deserving for the amazon,” he noted.

Abdulmajeed prayed that the Almighty Allah will guide Barr. Jumoke Gafar in the new role and grant her the strength and ability to excel in the larger interest of the nation.

He congratulated the number one citizen of Kwara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum, saying this is yet another confirmation that his people-oriented governance is being monitored closely across the country and beyond.

Abdulmajeed mourns Offa APC member Alhaja Jumoke Balogun

Mallam Abdullahi Abdulmajeed has joined family, friends and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa to mourn the demise of Alhaja Jumoke Balogun.

In a condolence statement issued by his media team on Friday, Abdulmajeed described the death as sad and touching.

According to him, “The late Alhaja Jumoke Balogun was a dedicated woman who had a strong sense of patriotism and tirelessly pursued development and change in her community.

"She was also a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa. I recall her participation as a very active member of the Kwara South APC Mobilization Committee for the 2019 election under my chairmanship.

"The late Alhaja Jumoke made unquantifiable contributions to the actualization of our task as a Mobilization Committee member and party faithful. She will indeed be deeply missed,” Abdulmajeed added.

“I send my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, associates and the APC family in Offa. I pray Allah to forgive her shortcomings and admit her into Aljannah Firdaus.”
