LASTING EXPRESSIONS

"Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;" Ephesians 1:16
The Apostle Paul in writing to the church at Ephesus stated he always mentioned them in his prayer to God; thanking God on their behalf, but he showed in the previous verse what caused such fervent actions towards them on his part:
"Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints," Ephesians 1:15
He heard about their faith in the Lord Jesus and their love unto all the saints, this means they expressed their faith in the Lord Jesus with such intensity that people talked about it and the Apostle heard, their show of love for other believers was so tangible, that people saw it and talked about it.
These expressions of faith and love by the Ephesians church caused the Apostle to never cease praying for them, he was always giving thanks to God on their behalf because from what he had heard they were astonishing examples of the gospel.
Learn from them. Let your faith in the Lord Jesus and love for all saints be tangible!

GOD'S WONDERFUL WAY Vi

16th, November 2019.

"...for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few." 1 Samuel 14:6

God can do anything, and what you have is more than enough, so he says:
"... be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5
In the word, we see examples of how God wrought miracles irrespective of human input or abundant resources, infact there was a time he said, there were too many people, in other words he thought the resources on ground was too many and would have been a stark limitation and hindrance.
"And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands..." Judges 7:2
Instead of complaining that what you have is not enough, thank him for what you have like Jesus did and use what you have, remember, nothing takes God by surprise concerning you and your sojourn on the earth and all that you require, he has prepared already, so if what you have now seems small, then the 'small' is all that you require, go ahead and use it.
All Moses had was a rod- a shepherd's stick.
All the widow in Elisha's day had was a pot of oil.
All the widow of Zarephat in Elijah's day had was a lone meal.
All Jesus had were five loaves and two fishes.
These all seemed small and like nothing compared to what they had to accomplish, but you know, they were more than enough. God has a plan for your life, when what you have is not enough to you, remember God has a plan, relax and thank him, then go ahead and do the needful.
What a life! We always win.

GOD'S WONDERFUL WAY III

13th, November 2019.

"But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Exodus 14:16

When there is no way out, then a way can be created. At times an instruction can be given that seems implausible to the human mind but with divine insight, vocals and power, produces tremendous results.
In the main verse, the children of Isreal were 'stuck' literally between the devil's army and the deep blue sea, Moses had thought it was time for him to cry unto God and maybe God would destroy the Egyptians before they came close giving them enough time to build a big boat, being inspired by Noah (and fervently doing the word), but God had a better idea, that idea was made evident to Moses in his instruction, he told Moses to stretch his hand over the water and divide it.
What an instruction! There was no such example before then of anybody doing anything like that, the closest they had when it had to do with sea, river or flood was Noah and he built an ark for years, but God had a better idea.
When Moses stretched forth his hand, the sea split long enough for the children of Isreal to walk through and the Egyptians to walk in and be drowned.
Know this, no matter how much it seems like you are boxed in, there is a divine scissors and fire fixed on you that can cut you out of or burn any limitation, it is called the sword of the Spirit released with your tongue:
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword..." Hebrews 4:12
"And the tongue is a fire..." James 3:6
Speak, speak yourself out- you are victorious and unperturbed!

BIBLE READING PLAN: EZRA 5 - 6

GOD'S WONDERFUL WAY II

12th, November 2019.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

The first instruction we are given in Christ is to behold- see that all things are become new. It matters what you see and how you see, if you keep seeing the old things, keep setting your mind on the old ways- those old unproductive and unrighteous ways, you would live in that old realm even though in reality you are a new creation.
"If they had been thinking about what they had left behind, they would have had an opportunity to go back." Hebrews 11:15, ISV
God says see, see that everything about you is now new! Before you identify with your former way of doing things, remember that as a new creature, you can now do things in a better and uncommon manner than before.
What you see, you accept and live accordingly, if before you got born again you had a boss that did not like you and tried in your view to frustrate all that you did and all that concern you, God says now that you are born again, turn your eyes from that boss and see Romans 8:28:
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
If before you had an ailment that was deadly or you had gotten used to, God says now that you are born again, see Romans 8:11:
"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."
So much to see. Such a glorious life to live. It matters what you see, see only in your new location- Christ. See and rejoice because everything about you is new and uncommon.

GOD'S WONDERFUL WAY

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Romans 8:37

Man's ways are not God's ways, when man assumes things are tough and there is no way out and no solution in sight, we ought to remember that we are sons of God, joint heirs with Christ, Jesus said:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
So we are joint heirs with the way, we are the way!
Nothing as being stuck for the child of God, we are sanctified, called out from that life that can get stuck, planted steadfastly into a kingdom that increases, never stuck in one place but spreads around the world and influences every home.
You have to think this way, if you think there is no way out, then there would be no way out because you have positioned yourself not to see, it is important for you that you see what God has said and remain there.
"If they had been thinking about what they had left behind, they would have had an opportunity to go back." Hebrews 11:15, ISV
You are joint to the way, you are in union with the solution, if there is no natural option, then it's time to fly and bring forth the divine option and it would not be hard for you because you are divine.
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God..." 1 John 3:2
So no matter where you are what you do, remember as long as you are involved, things would go smoothly and easily because your very presence is a solution!

NEW AND UNCOMMON PATH

4th November, 2019.

"And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." 2 Corinthians 5:15

He died for all- he died for you! The main verse shows us he died for people for a definite purpose; that they would live unto him. It would be impossible to live unto him without his life, and to ensure that was not the case, he gave us his life.
Now, we have no excuse, he has given us his life so we would live on on the earth, doing the things he did while he walked on the earth in his Father's will. We ought to live in the name of Jesus:
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." Colossians 3:17
And he has made it so. When you got born again, you received a fixed and definite purpose for your living; he expects you to live the life of Jesus, living fully in his name.
Always remember that the one who died for you rose again, you now have a life that cannot be defeated or put under. Live this glorious victorious life with joy! This is your destiny!!

AHEAD IN LIFE VI

2nd October, 2019

"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" 2 Timothy 2:25

"And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." 2 Timothy 2:26
Those who oppose themselves are eventually held captive by the devil at his will. This means the devil afflicts them for fun. Today, it is a health challenge, tomorrow, a job problem, the next month, a family predicament. When the devil is not busy about anything, he torments them for fun, maybe you know people like that or it is probably happening with you now, rejoice! There is a recovery! The best part is, you would initiate your recovery when you are ready!
"And that they may recover themselves..."
So that man, that has fallen into the snare of the devil because he was constantly speaking the wrong words or he conformed when trouble came instead of transforming, that man should not lose hope, it is not over, there can be a recovery! Halleluyah!
He says, once you realize what you didn't do right and you find out the right thing to do, just do it- start speaking right, get to the word and renew your mind, he says when you do that, you are out of the devil's snare and he can't hold you back- he is powerless and inefficient!
Glorious news, just leave that trouble now! Don't waste time regretting, speak the right words out of that hole and stay on the hill where you were born!

AHEAD IN LIFE IV

"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" 2 Timothy 2:25

Learn a new word: 'transform'. Always remember that with God's word, you have the ability to transform, you can transform out of that situation that seems like a dead end. As a new creature in Christ Jesus, one of the new and uncommon things you can do is change states, and it is a glorious and permanent change.
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18
The word translated change actually should be rendered metamorphose, it isn't just the caterpillar that can un-dergo metamorphosis and transform to a butterfly, the Christian can too.
Remarkably, caterpillars don't fly, they are small, slimy and lazy, but when they undergo metamorphosis, they become beautiful butterflies. We have never heard of a butterfly failing and becoming a caterpillar, it never hap-pens, irrespective of how much the butterfly messes up, it can't go back to being a caterpillar, it is a butterfly and will always be one, giving us an idea about metamor-phosis- when you change state, you can't go back, no regress for the transformed Christian, that old level of productivity, results and knowledge are gone and gone forever, you begin to operate with new abilities in this new level, till you transform again and the glorious life continues!

AHEAD IN LIFE III

"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" 2 Timothy 2:25

So, things are not going in a progressive manner for you, it seems you are back to where you started or even seemingly worse, good news! The word of God has come to you today, the fact that you are reading this means it is time for you to be ushered out of that hole of repetition into the constant glorious metamorphosis assigned to the child of God by right!
He leaves no allowance for decline for the child of God who constantly approaches his word, he has said:
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18
Your life was made for higher glorious progressions! This is the reality, you were meant to transform everyday as you behold the word of God- this means you change your state. Irrespective of the heavy challenges you might have been faced with, he says, no challenge is strong enough to limit the progress of the Christian, when pressed, the Christian can change states and soar.
For example a block of ice might feel comfortable in a solid state in the freezer, until there is a fire outbreak in the house, the fire outbreak is not big enough to destroy the block of ice, before as a solid, it was stuck in one position, unable to move or soar, constantly wary of heat, now that there is fire, it is time for that ice to change states; expand, become gaseous, soar and spread.
Same with you, the trouble is a signal that it is time to change states and enter a realm of limitless possibilities.

AHEAD IN LIFE II

"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;" 2 Timothy 2:25

The bible tells us:
"Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life." Proverbs 4:13
It is no wonder why, from the main verse, we see that once those who oppose themselves lay hold of instructions from the word and acknowledge the word:
("...thy word is truth." John 17:17)
They will be delivered.
This means firstly, that a cyclic, stationary, 'back and forth' experience filled life is not God's will for any of his children, he already said:
"But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shin-eth more and more unto the perfect day." Proverbs 4:18
So we ought to be better everyday, moving forward and making progress in knowledge, growth, results and our productivity. When that is not your experience he says get to the word; there is the truth of God's word you have to hear, understand and become one with to usher your life forward with the power and excellence of the holy Ghost.
As you study the word, it will then become clear to you what you probably were not thinking, saying or doing right and you can make that glorious change.
Be rest assured that the glorious life is yours, do not settle for ordinary!

BIBLE READING PLAN: 2 CHRONICLES 15 - 16

HUMBLE AND EXALTED VI

26th October, 2019

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:" 1 Peter 5:6

Choosing not to be anxious is humility. The word of God shows us another humble expression:
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:6-7
Your resisting the devil is submission. Submit to God. Be humble. Use your words and resist the devil and his deceitful and manipulative thoughts.
Now you have cast all of your cares upon God, rightly so because the word of God shows you that is true humili-ty, then the devil comes with his thoughts, reminding you of everything you have chosen to cast upon God, reminding you of your account balance, of the doctor's report, of your brother at home etc. Humility would be not giving in to his words but resisting him; telling him to get out! When you do tell him to get out, he will flee and if he comes again, cast him out again.
Be active with God, doing your part remarkably: cast your cares upon him, give him thanks and if the devil reminds you of those cares, tell him to get out! This is your exaltation route!

HUMBLE AND EXALTED III

23rd October, 2019

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:" 1 Peter 5:6

The main verse ends with a colon; he is going to give us an example of our being humble under the mighty God in the next verse:
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." 1 Peter 5:7
He says you are humble when you stop caring about yourself and cast all of your cares upon God because you do not know better than he does.
God has a plan for your life and when that plan is un-veiled to you, it is only wisdom that you plan along with him, so he is not talking about being lazy and having no plan for your life, he is saying stop worrying about things he alone can change!
It is pride to try to do God's work, he has shown you to use your faith, speak his word and give him thanks.
He says cast ALL your care upon him, your care about your job, school, family, health, money etc. Cast them all on him and rejoice because if God has them, a mira-cle would be produced. He cares for you and his caring is more than enough, don't disturb his caring by caring also, celebrate his care and his love by giving him thanks!
