Perhaps you are still taking the Cholera outbreak in Lagos lightly, I implore with the love of God to desist immediately.

Yesterday I heard the sad news of the demise of one of our most dedicated and talented P.O.P artisans, he lost his life yesterday to Cholera abruptly.

It is a sad thing that a young man’s life would be cut short without warning and worse still he was infected silently without any noise.

Please take care of your self and your family, be careful of the water you drink, be careful of the vendors you eat from. Cholera is contagious, an infectious person will spread it to his family inadvertently. Please be careful for your sake and for your family as well.

May God protect us all.

Football unifies Nigerians far more than politics can ever venture. Yesterday we had a classic example of what a united Nigeria can be.

An Efik/ Ibibio man born of a foreign Mother captained our team. An Edo man won a penalty, the “Calabar” man scored it. An Hausa/Fulani man committed a foul and a penalty awarded against us led to a goal.

During Penalties a Yoruba man lost his kick but an Igbo man saved our skin and finally another Igbo man scored the last penalty kick. Nigerian won!

We all celebrated as one! Even though all the football drama in between could have started another drama politically but we all watched till the end and Nigeria won!

We should learn from this victory from unity. United we stand but divided we will fall. Let’s unite in every aspect of life regardless of who scored or who conceded penalty or who saved penalty or who won the match for us. In the end Nigeria will win.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
