Today's text is about Jairus' daughter, who became ill but died as her father went looking for Jesus to salvage the situation. On his way, another issue that delayed the master came up; it was the woman with the issue of blood. After all that transpired, Jairus was informed not to bother Jesus again since the child was dead. When Jesus heard that, he told Jairus to never lose hope. Eventually, they got to Jairus' house; people were gathered, mourning and wailing uncontrollably. He that has power over all situation arrived. He raised the child and restored her to life and unto her parents; to the amazement of all that had gathered for her funeral. Everything turned from sorrow to rejoicing; our God is great! Hallelujah!

Prayer points:

1. Thank the Lord Jesus for the gift of life, good things, the air we breathe, rainfall and the sunshine.

2. Thank him because he is the story changer and the great restorer.

3. Appreciate him for today's word.

4. Confess your shortcomings unto the Lord.

5. Mention to the most high, that area that you need restoration.

6. I declare and decree today, you shall receive divine restoration in your life, in the name of Jesus.

One of the attributes of Jesus Christ is "Resurrection and the life" (John 11:25). By the reason of this attribute, Jesus has the power to bring back to life anything that has been deemed 'dead'. He is the great restorer. Joel 2:25 assures thus; "and I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which i sent among you". The word of God brings consolation and comfort. Whatever situation that has caused you to be in pain, agony and sorrow is hereby terminated by the reason of today's word in Jesus name.
