He broke my heart again… 💔 My student John forgot almost everything we had learnt in class. Yes. Everything. After all the explanations. After the practice questions. After the “Ma, I understand!” 😅 But here’s what I’ve learnt as a tutor — 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀. So guess what I did? I shared the slides with him… And this time, 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲. Not just theory — but application. Real understanding. Practical thinking. Then we went deeper. We solved more past questions. We tackled patterns. We focused on why answers are correct — not just what the answers are. Because sometimes students don’t need repetition. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. When students teach, they think differently. When they apply, they retain. When they struggle, they grow. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.
