Chapter 41

Elizabeth is just so happy with her normal princess life. Everything is going smoothly, she usually visits lily and spends time with her.

Her father is now back and their daughter-father relationship has improved and her relationship with Sarah has also improved.

Elizabeth only problem was her mom, she still bullies the maids and sometimes insult and shouts at her. She also noticed that her mom and dad don't talk or relate with each other. Maybe they had an argument, Elizabeth thought.

Elizabeth felt bored and decided to go the garden which is now her favorite to be.

As she was going, she saw her enraged mother going to her room and slamming the door hard. What happened, Eli thought.

She put her ear on the door to hear what her mom was yelling about. She couldn't hear clearly but she heard

"I hate -, want powers -, - kill you, die die" Elizabeth removed her ear when she heard the last part. Gosh who does my mom want to kill. Eli shook her head

Elizabeth left her mom's room and went to the garden and saw her dad and sat beside him

"Dad why he frowny face, you and mom argued again right?" Elizabeth asked

"No we didn't argue" king Mark lied. Actually he and rose argued but he just left there and came to the garden in anger. He didn't want to do anything bad to rose, so came to cool down here

"Then prove it, smile for me dad, smile" Elizabeth put her hands on her jaw and smiled at her dad

"Okay, okay" king Mark said and smiled

"Oh my dad looks more handsome when he smiles, you should smile more"

"Okay princess" king Mark got up, plucked a beautiful flower and put it on Elizabeth hair and smiled

"WOW the flower is so pretty, don't I look more beautiful dad?" Elizabeth asked

" Of course, Eli is very beautiful" King Mark smiled

Sarah was just watching them happily, they didn't notice her but she still watched them.

Maybe it was a good thing that the King married rose. He looks so happy with his daughter, Sarah smiled and wished that she would get pregnant.

Chapter 40

**One month later**

The king recently travelled to another kingdom for certain days to solve some problems and Elizabeth has been enjoying life as a princess but the only thing that spoit her enjoyment was the arguments and fights between her mom and Sarah and sometimes her mom bullies the maids about little things and even beat them and gives them punishment.

Elizabeth decided to leave her room and go to the garden to clear her head. As she was going,she heard noise from the other hallway and she decided to check what made the noise.

She saw her mom rose yelling at a maid, and she went there.

"How dare you bump into me you this peasant "rose yelled and slapped the maid again

"I am sorry my queen it will never happen again" the maid said with tears in her eyes

"It better not happen again or else I will make your life miserable"

Just then Sarah came(the maid was her personal maid)and said to rose"please leave her alone and don't argue about little..."

"You this barren woman who asked you to talk,you better mind your business" Sarah didn't say anything after being insulted

Elizabeth hated what her mother said and pulled her away from there" Mom let's just go,the maid already apolo..."

"Ah!!" Elizabeth screamed as she was interrupted with a slap

"You this wrench girl don't you there touch me NONSENSE!!" She looked at Elizabeth and Sarah,eyed them and hissed,then went to her room and slammed the door hard enough for them to hear from where they were.

Elizabeth stood still and held her face but didn't cry(she was use to rose slaps)

Sarah quickly went to Elizabeth and hugged her. At first Elizabeth wanted to refuse the hug but changed her mind

"Everyone leave,you saw and heard nothing" Sarah said in a commanding tone and maids that were present left

"Let's go to my room"sarah said to Elizabeth and both went to the room

Inside the room Sarah was checking Elizabeth cheek which was now red and called a nurse. The nurse did her job and left in a few minutes.

"Does your cheek still hurt" Sarah asked and Elizabeth nodded

"Sorry about what your mom did" Elizabeth didn't want Sarah to apologise so she hugged her and told her not to talk about her mom and they talked about something else.

Chapter 39

*THE NEXT DAY*

Elizabeth is currently in her room thinking about what her life as a princess would be.
Yes,she and her mom were crowned princess and Queen yesterday and a very little wedding was done for her mom and her new dad. What made her more happy was that when she was crowned princess,she was given more power. (King Mark is the most powerful wizard,rose was now the most witch,followed by Sarah the second most powerful witch and lastly Elizabeth the third most powerful witch)

Elizabeth thought about her friend lily and wondered when she would meet her because she hasn't left the palace since when she came.
"What if used my new powers and disappear to go and meet lily"elizabeth said but as she was about to disappear she paused

"I don't know how to use my new power,when would my tutor arrive(she was given a tutor to teach her how to use her new powers)

"I don't think I can wait for my tutor,let me see if I can disappear up the mountain,hope it works" Elizabeth said and disappeared

Fortunately she appeared on the mountain and met lily there. She ran to her and hugged her "lily,ohh I so much missed you"

"Eli you are here,missed you too,where have you been? I went to your house but no one was there"lily asked

Elizabeth sat down on a rock and said "It's a long story"

"Before you start your story have you heard that the king just got married,I can't believe it,I heard that his new wife has a daughter"

Elizabeth sighed and said"i am his daughter"

Lily was confused"what do you mean?"
Elizabeth told her the whole story and lily was shocked but happy for her friend

After the story lily asked "So you are now a princess?"Elizabeth nodded and lily smiled

"Wow,I am so happy for you and now your mom won't bully you anymore"

"Now show me your new powers"lily said

"I wish I could but I can't,I need to first learn how to control my powers before I use it,I was fortunate to appear here even I don't know how to use my powers"

"What about your tutor,when would she come to teach you how to use your powers?"lily asked

"I don't know,I should get going before someone notices that I am missing" Elizabeth stood up and hugged lily

"Bye princess eli"lily said and Elizabeth disappeared to the Palace.

Chapter 38

Elizabeth gave up on trying to listen to what her mom and king were discussing and about to leave but as she was going the door open, a guard she just noticed took her mom to her room. Still invisible Elizabeth followed her mom inside her room and heard her talking to herself.

"I can't believe Elizabeth is the king's daughter"rose said to herself and as Elizabeth heard it she was so shocked she fell hitting the table which her mom heard and looked at her direction

Elizabeth hoped her mom didn't notice her but her mom came towards her, grabbed her and yelled "no need to be invisible, prepare for tomorrow, you are going to be a princess and I am going to be a queen" Elizabeth became visible immediately

"Mom is it true that I am the king's daughter?"

"Was there water in my mouth when I was talking?"rose asked back

"Mom you are hurting me"Elizabeth said feeling pain in her arm her mom held

"If not that I will be a queen tomorrow because of you, I would have slapped you, now get out from here"rose said and Elizabeth disappeared to her room

Elizabeth lay down on her bed and said in her mind"Is it a good thing know that I know my father?, tomorrow I am going to be a princess. The king already has a wife,why does want to marry my mom,is it because she doesn't have a child..."Elizabeth soon drifted of to sleep

**THE NEXT DAY**

Elizabeth was already awake, the maids came prepared her bath and gave a dress to wear and right know she is eating with her mom in the dining room.

"Mom are you getting married to the king today or getting crowned today?"

"Both of course, now eat and don't ask questions"

After that the king's first wife Sarah came and sat down with them.The maids served her,her food and was eating.

Elizabeth hated the place was quite and decided to talk to Sarah"Good day my queen"

"Good day"she smiled and returned back eating

"My queen are you preparing for the celebration, you know my mom is going to be a queen and I am going to be a princess..." Sarah stood up angrily and left the dining room

Sarah was furious about her husband getting married because she couldn't give birth and didn't want to associate herself with rose or Elizabeth.
