Our Director, Research & Technology with Head of Value added service at EDFin microfinance bank catching up at the edtech townhall meeting. Outside been next door neighbours, and share common values and beliefs as regards accessibility and standardization of quality of education by relying on research and automation. We are also both focused on supporting availability of high quality education for pupils from low income households. Edfin has a reach of 23,000 students across Lagos. By collaborating we intend to eradicate technology illiteracy across this category.

Today marked another step forward for us as we were priviledged to engage with the head teacher of today on and how integrating with our curriculum can greatly improve the computing drive mandated by the for british curricular schools. We are so excited that a feasibility demo has been approved for the 1st week of December for the for elementary/primary level.

We had so much fun at the workshop and we were dazed by the fast advancement of the kids. Feedbacks were amazing and we are excited to see the next generation of coders creating something with code on their own

When a task is given to kids, solving the problem can sometimes seem overwhelming but not impossible. We let them understand the importance of breaking down the problem and figuring out practical solutions by interpreting it as a code.

Here at code4teen, we focus on deep level of communication with students to ensure they have a clear understanding of each lesson. This is achieved by asking the kids the kinds of questions that will extend interaction rather than cut it off.

The kids exude confidence and we let them explore during lessons, letting them understand that they can write their codes anywhere(like the kid in the video) and when they get a computer they can run it on their editor.
This approach has proven to be an excellent way to engage and build kids confidence
