In developed countries, there has been buzz and attention to the impact of our activities on the environment and for decades now attention has been shifted on ways to ensure that our activities impact the environment that we live positively. The question however is while these countries are developing products that are environmental friendly, why are the companies in this region sitting on the sideline watching and from the bench?

While it is true that the government needs to lead the march in ensuring that businesses in its boundaries do not impact the environment negatively, it is also important that the Entrepreneurs and Intra-preneurs in Africa wake up and become more environment friendly when developing solutions.


We are not really a producing continent so the call is to partner with companies that are socially conscious with their products, start thinking of strategies to replicate and scale various business ideas that are friendly on the environment and stop the production of products that we know impacts the environment negatively. So while we are thinking of establishing manufacturing companies in this region, we also have to think of making them socially conscious companies that impact the environment positively.
