Thoughts.
To ultimately solve the issue of electoral malpractices in the country, i will suggest that INEC should think of what We called Video Assistant Officer (VAO), as part of their electoral kits in the planning of 2023 election, VAO should record the following processes during the election;
1) Card Verification Process (we're impressed with the gadget they have now)
2) Actual Voting Process
3) Result compilation & Publishing for each polling units
A software platform (portal system) should be developed to upload this outcomes in a compressed format.
All Nigerians can search & View the electoral processes in their own units or wards or else where in the country.
The platform will give INEC a bird eye view of the entire electoral processes in the country.
This will result to ultimate transparency & a vital tool for decision making.
