Culture on Parade, Leadership in Motion: 9th Edition of Oluwa Kingdom Itabale Day

When Oluwa Kingdom moves, it moves as one.

Bale Oluwa stepped out in full regalia alongside his council of chiefs, a living picture of tradition, unity, and authority.

High Chief Michael Oluwa, Otun Bale Chief Sodiq Musari, Baba Oba Oluwa, Chief Dauda Oluwa, Chief Taiwo Oluwa (Thailand), Oloriebu Oluwa, Chief Nurudeen Oluwa, Balogun of Oluwa, Ninalowo Adisa, Imam Oluwa, Chief Mutiu Salam, Chief Gbenga Lamoriu, Bale Igando, and other respected Baales in attendance.

Bale Oluwa’s attire wasn’t just clothing, it was culture stitched into elegance, perfectly matched to the weight of leadership.

What set this year’s cultural presentation apart was its rare blend of authenticity and artistry. The drumming, dance, and chants weren’t generic displays they were deliberate reenactments of Oluwa’s ancestral lineage and values. From the synchronized footwork of the royal dancers to the call-and-response chants led by the elders, every movement carried meaning, tracing the kingdom’s history in rhythm and gesture. It was culture performed with precision, not just for spectacle, but to remind the younger generation who they are and where they come from.

Equally unique was the way tradition met modern coordination. The procession moved with military like order yet retained the warmth and spontaneity of Yoruba cultural expression. Costumes, proverbs, and symbolic props were used with intent, each element speaking to unity, courage, and communal responsibility. It felt less like a performance and more like a living archive proof that Oluwa Kingdom preserves its identity without losing touch with the present.

The moment Olori Mosunmola Oluwa stepped into the crowd, the atmosphere shifted. Her extraordinary beauty was matched only by the grace in her carriage, and her classical outfit spoke volumes about her poise and class. Draped in rich, meticulously detailed attire that honored tradition while exuding quiet royalty, she moved with the calm confidence of a queen who knows her place in the lineage. Her presence added a touch of regal elegance that perfectly complemented the day’s cultural grandeur.

That glow, that presence, that harmony? It’s the Oluwa spirit on full display. This is what symbolic unity looks like.

Abiola Olowu, APC Candidate & FNSE, Celebrates Dr. Odutola Tajudeen Kasali Ahead of His Birthday: A Born Leader

As Dr. Odutola Tajudeen Kasali marks his birthday today, I, Abiola Olowu, Ibeju Lekki Constituency I, APC Candidate and FNSE, celebrate a man whose life embodies leadership, wisdom, and grace.

Dr. Tola Kasali speaks with a measured tone and clarity, always carrying himself with dignity, manners, and respect. He is a worthy leader full of admirable qualities, calm in judgment, principled in action, and guided by a deep understanding of life’s rhythm.

He believes life is relative: a balance of events that produce results within the time between birth and death. His philosophy is rooted in inner reflection, emotional sensitivity, and perceptive insight rather than mere outward observation. It’s this depth that shapes his actions and contributes meaningfully to knowledge and human understanding.

Above all, Dr. Kasali is a steadfast believer in the mightiness of Almighty Allah (S.W.T).

Happy birthday, Sir, our leader. May Allah grant you more years in good health, wisdom, and service to humanity.

Ibeju-Lekki Tightens Transport Security as Council Meets Okada, Keke, NURTW Leaders

The council’s Supervisor for Market and Revenue, Hon. Ahmed Ajibola Elemoro, sat down today with chairmen of the Tricycle, Motorcycle, and NURTW units across the LGA. The meeting carried a clear mandate from Executive Chairman Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa: raise the bar on safety, accountability, and revenue collection.

Every unit chairman must identify and document all Okada operators in their area. No more anonymous bikes on the streets, Okada operations stop at 10:00 p.m. sharp. The rule is part of the council’s wider security plan, Only officially approved aprons will be allowed. The aprons double as ID, making it easier to spot legitimate operators, Every rider must have a valid National Identification Number on file, Non-Nigerians in commercial transport must report to the Immigration Office at the council secretariat for profiling and documentation.

Elemoro told the gathering that revenue is the engine of development, but it only works when systems are orderly and secure. He urged the transport leaders to work with the council to enforce the new rules, saying compliance directly translates to better roads, markets, and services for residents.

“The Olowa administration is committed to security, accountability, and development that lasts,” he said.

The chairmen welcomed the direct engagement and pledged to back the policies. For many, the meeting was the first step toward cleaning up the transport space and reducing security risks tied to undocumented operators.

With Ibeju-Lekki hosting the Dangote Refinery, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and rapid urban growth, the council says getting a grip on commercial transport now is critical to keeping pace with the LGA’s expansion.
