True revival is restoration of a person's consciousness of God and Godliness. This may start at a meeting but it doesn't end at the meeting because revival isn't evident in the noise at a program but the life lived after attending the program.

Revival is meeting between God and man; meeting between divinity and humanity. No man comes in contact with God and remains the same.

To be revived, remembrance must play the role of:
1. Salvation (Eccl. 12:1)
2. Repentance (Luke 22:61-62)
3. Sustenance of relationship with God (Deut. 8:17-18)
4. Rekindling of passion (Rev. 2:4-5)
5. Stirring of divine abilities (2Tim. 1:6).

We're in a season of revival, not miss out of the stirring and quickening.

WHEN MEN SLEEP IN THE SPIRIT

1. Sin will be on the increase (Matt. 24:12).
2. They will rather be worldly than being godly (Col. 3:1-2).
3. They become porous to the ravaging of spiritual scavengers (1 Peter 5:8)
4. They become a dump site for the devil (Matt. 13:25)
5. They become children of darkness (1Thes. 5:4-6)
6. Sin becomes scintillating.

The state of your spiritual alertness will be shown in what you condemn or condone.
There's a summon in the spirit for believers to be awake in the spirit as spiritual sleep is at a believer's detriment (Eph. 5:14).
