😢😂😂
As I reflect on my childhood, one particular incident stands out as a defining moment in my development as an individual. It was a day that tested my courage, wit, and determination, and ultimately left an indelible mark on my psyche.

I was tasked with delivering a meal to my family's farm at Ubi Ndi Umuoshi, a remote location that required a considerable journey through the bush. Confident in my ability to navigate the terrain, I set out with a heavy basin of food and a 7-litre keg of water, accompanied by a benevolent bicycle rider who dropped me off at a nearby junction.

As I ventured deeper into the bush, I became increasingly disoriented. The familiar landmarks and sounds of farming activity gave way to an unsettling silence, punctuated only by the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds 🐦. Panic began to set in as I realized I had lost my way. The fear of being alone and vulnerable in the wilderness was overwhelming, and I found myself whispering prayers and searching for any sign of human presence. The thought of ndi ogbu isi (head hunters) lurking in the shadows added to my terror 😱.

In a moment of desperation, I turned back, retracing my steps in the hope of finding my way. It was then that I stumbled upon a familiar path, and soon I was reunited with my relieved family, who had begun to worry about my whereabouts.

My mother's reaction was one of shock and concern, her face etched with worry as she exclaimed, "Obara Jesus! What happened to you?" 😮 I was shaken, but grateful to have made it back safely.

Looking back, I realize that this experience taught me a valuable lesson in resilience and adaptability. It showed me that even in the face of uncertainty and fear, I have the capacity to find my way forward, and that sometimes, it is the unexpected detours that lead us to growth and self-discovery 🌱.

Lagos????

My first trip to Lagos was like a rollercoaster ride - thrilling, scary, and full of surprises 😅. I had heard stories, both true and tall, about the city, and let's just say I was a bit apprehensive 😬. The bus ride started smoothly, but things took a turn for the worse at Ore when we got a flat tire 🚨. It was night time, and the driver parked at a fuel station, muttering about other mechanical issues 🛠️.

As I struggled with my dead phone 📴, some of us begged the vendors to let us charge our phones. I plugged mine in and sat guard, but when we were ready to leave, I reached for my phone... gone 🤑! My pouch was there, charger and all, but the phone was nowhere to be found 😭. I cried like a baby, imagining the worst 😱.

The driver couldn't take me back, and I didn't have the numbers of the people I was meeting memorized 📵. We reached my own bus stop and just as I was panicking, I saw familiar faces - my friends were already waiting for me at the bus stop, having driven to the park because they couldn't reach me on phone 🤗. Talk about a lifesaver! 😇

Lagos, you had me on my toes 😂. But I'm glad I made it out... 😏. Wherever you are going, be honest. Be intentional in giving details to your family members. What if I hadn't hinted them on time that my phone was running on low battery?

Odumeje said:

"If church cannot give you a joy, there is nothing you are going there for. Is a place of relaxer."

He paused and asked: "Relaxer kwa?"

The man with a background microphone said, "yes."

Then Odumeje laughed mischievously and said:

"Ameen! Alleluia! Ị ma na oyibo m na-adị too cascatic. Ameeen!"

Laughter.

"Oyibo m na-adị too cascatic. Are you understanding?"

The person said: "you are there sir."

"Oyibo m na-adịkarị too cascatic. Jee chọba yá nà dictionary. That is your business. Is it not true?"

The person said, "it's true."

"My grammar is too cascatic. Am I sure you are hearing me?"

"Yes sir. Indaboski dictionary."

"Yes. That is what I see it." Odumeje said. "And the relaxer and the reless. The Bible say come in the present of God. He said call me in the eeeeh eeehh eeeeh those that are in labor come to me I will give you ọọọ lest. I will give you ọọ lest. Lest ya means relax. That is means relaxer. That's why e tee gị relaxer n'isi, isi gị eme gịnị? Isi gị emee nwịrịrịị. Is it not true?"

The man on the background said: "ọ bara."

Odumeje continued:
