“Mercy Meets Compassion”

Police confirm identities of three sisters who tragically lost their lives in the sea off Brighton.

Sisters Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walter, 32, and Rebecca Walter, 31, from London, were named by Sussex Police after their bodies were recovered from the sea at around 5.45am last Wednesday.

Their devastated father Joseph paid tribute, saying: “No words can truly describe the pain of losing three daughters in the prime of their lives.”

Sussex Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, quoting Operation Ledmore.

Fought off 6 machete armed men to protect 37 sleeping orphans.

24-year-old Anthony Omari woke up to find a group of armed thieves in his bedroom at the Faraja Children's Home in Ngong, Kenya.

It was the orphanage which he ran with mother Martha Bosire, that was housing 37 children at the time.

It was the fourth break-in that month, so Omari was ready this time. He grabbed a hammer he kept under his bed and charged at the men, forcing them outside.

But as he turned back to calm the crying children at the door, one of the attackers struck him in the face with a machete.

Despite the horrific wound, Omari managed to lock the front door behind him before passing out.

The injury required 11 stitches and left a long scar from his forehead down his cheek.

He was discharged from the hospital after two days and returned to the orphanage, he didn't want to leave them for too long unsafe.

Omari's story went viral when a student posted on it on reddit, asking for any help, and what happened next was incredible.

Within days, more than 3,600 donors from all 50 U.S. states and 46 countries had contributed over $80,000.

The funds paid for a new fence, security guards, beds the children had been sleeping on the floor and other essentials.

Anthony Omari later earned a civil engineering degree, started his own construction company, and continues to visit the children at Faraja regularly.🎥🎥🎥🎬

The Islington Twins at 64:
Chuka and Dubem Okonkwo, aka Chet and Joe, were born in East London in 1962.

Now 64, the East London-born Onitsha twins are still North London fixtures as ‘The Islington Twins’.

Parents: Their father, Chuma Okonkwo from Onitsha, was a broadcaster who worked with Chinua Achebe. Their mother, Teresa, came from a business family and was already a teacher when she arrived in the UK to study.

Still dressing identically and impeccably, Chet and Joe remain local legends around Islington and Highbury. They never gained formal qualifications or held 9-to-5 jobs, funding their look through paper rounds, photo shoots, and house-sitting over the years.

At 64, they’re still known for their sharp street style, daily hats, and positive influence fashion icons who never compromised, still looking like a million bucks.
