The acclaimed actor, musician, and philanthropist was honoured by King Charles during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle for his dedication to supporting and empowering young people.

Through his work as an ambassador for The King’s Trust and as co-founder of the Elba Hope Foundation, Elba has championed opportunities for youth development. He has previously shared that a grant from The King’s Trust played a key role in helping him begin his career in the arts.

Speaking on the recognition, Elba said: “We are thankful. The work continues.”
