‎You don’t have to get pregnant within the first two years of marriage.
‎Take a step back and think carefully. Marriage itself is already a huge transition — emotionally, mentally, financially, and spiritually.

‎Rushing into pregnancy immediately may sound like the “normal” thing to do because of culture or family pressure, but in reality, it can rob you of the chance to truly know your partner and build a strong foundation first.

‎Too many people assume that having a baby will cement the marriage, but the truth is this:

Discover habits, ambitions, strengths, and weaknesses. Be sure you didn’t marry someone selfish, controlling, or irresponsible — because those things show up more clearly with time.

‎Let’s be honest: once children are involved, it’s much harder to walk away from a bad marriage. Not because you don’t want peace, but because children tie you down emotionally, financially, and socially. Many women (and men too) end up “managing” abuse, unhappiness, and disrespect just for the sake of the children..
