YOUTH WAVE: 30-year-old APC House of Representatives aspirant, Mahmud Sadis Buba, popularly known as Abin Al-Ajabin Zazzau, has successfully completed the party’s screening for the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State ahead of the 2027 elections.

Buba, whose youthful appearance sparked widespread reactions online, appeared before screening officials in traditional attire and answered questions about his age, background and political ambition. He confirmed he is 30 years old, the firstborn of nine siblings, and said he decided to contest after being called upon by his people to serve.

According to him, “People called me to serve them, and I will serve. I am not doing this for myself.”

The aspirant, who holds a NECO certificate, also disclosed that he is contesting against the current House of Representatives member representing the constituency, insisting the decision to challenge the lawmaker came from the people.

Buba, who chairs the ‘Tinubu–Uba Sani Agenda ’27’ support group, recently purchased APC nomination forms. His screening appearance has continued to generate conversations online about youth participation, leadership and inclusion in Nigerian politics.
