A photograph taken by Osman Sigirli in Syria in 2015 shows a four-year-old girl raising her hands in the air, mistakenly believing that the telephoto lens he was using was a gun.

After the image went viral, Osman said: “I realised she was terrified after I took it, and looked at the picture, because she bit her lips and raised her hands. Normally kids run away, hide their faces or smile when they see a camera.”

Between 1995 and 1998, Emmanuel Nwude orchestrated one of the largest cases of fraud in history. He deceived a Brazilian bank into giving him $242 million.

Nwude impersonated the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and contacted the manager of Banco Noroeste, a large bank in Brazil.

He informed the bank manager that a new airport was being built in Nigeria’s capital city and inquired whether the bank would be interested in investing.

The manager of the bank, Nelson Sakaguchi, was very interested.

But there was just one problem: the airport didn't exist, and there were no plans for it to ever be built.

The bank manager, unaware of the deception, had no problem handing over $191 million in cash and committing to the rest of the fee in the form of future interest.

However, as the years went by, the bank eventually caught on, and Emmanuel was arrested along with the rest of his accomplices.

His accomplices included Emmanuel Ofolue, Nzeribe Okoli, and Obum Osakwe, as well as the husband and wife duo, Christian Ikechukwu Anajemba and Amaka Anajemba. Christian was later suspiciously assassinated.

Nwude received five sentences of five years but was released in 2006.

After his release Nwude lawsuit to recover his seized assets after he was released from prison, on the grounds that some of the assets were acquired before the offense was committed.

He reportedly managed to claim back at least $50M.

When selling an item on eBay there is a strict etiquette - give an honest appraisal of the goods including their faults. So when ten-year-old Zoe Pemberton put her grandmother up for auction, she was brutally honest.

Among the many points listed were 'annoying and moaning a lot', although she admitted 61-year-old Marian Goodall could be 'very cuddly and loves word searches'.

It was, of course, only meant as a joke. But that didn't stop dozens of people placing bids that reached more than £20,000 before the auction was shut down for breaching 'strict sales policies'.

The sale began on Sunday, when Mrs Goodall was feeling down in the dumps after returning from hospital in pain following treatment to a knee injury.
Zoe was apparently feeling a bit annoyed at being constantly asked 'to do things like make her a drink' and decided to do something to cheer both of them up.
Her father Thomas Pemberton, 31, who cares for his disabled mother at their home in Clacton, Essex, said: 'I could hear Zoe asking mum lots of questions about her favourite drinks, food and height but I had no idea what she was doing.
'She called me over, pressed the confirm button, and said, "I've put Nan on eBay". I couldn't believe it. I had no idea she knew how to do it. She had even got a picture of my mum.

'Zoe didn't want to sell her nan but wanted someone to come here and look after her. It was really quite sweet. I didn't tell her off and it certainly brought a smile to my mum's face.'

Describing the motivation for the sale, Zoe said: 'She was annoying me. She was moaning at me. I was on the laptop and suddenly thought I'd put her on eBay.
'I didn't know how much we'd get for her, maybe 99p.'
Mr Pemberton, a single father, added: 'We've had loads of inquiries asking if mum comes with a guarantee or MoT.
'Within a day there were £1,000 bids. Then it went £2,000. I couldn't believe it. Then when I last checked it was £20,541. I was amazed but my mum wasn't. She said she was worth millions.'

Mrs Goodall, a widow who has five children and 12 grandchildren, added: 'I just went along with it really.'
The auction was halted by eBay on Tuesday. Spokesman Jenny Thomas joked: 'While no doubt Mrs Goodall would have fetched a princely sum, eBay does not allow the listing of any human being on the site.

In 2020, bodybuilder Bobby Humphreys fell into a severe depression and even tried to kill himself after his wife left him.

Connie, his close friend, stood by him during this difficult period and also brought him a tiny puppy, her son's, to care for.

Bobby grew deeply attached to the puppy, named Lady, and eventually decided to adopt his own chihuahua.

Through this experience, he realized the immense need for loving homes for small dogs.

As a result, he has since adopted over 50 small dogs and even established his own animal rescue organization, Big Guy, Littles World Sanctuary.

The guy pictured below is Ali Khan Samsudin, a famous snake charmer who regularly performed stunts with cobras.

He is most known for locking himself in a room with 400 cobras for 40 days, something most people would consider their worst nightmare.

Sadly, after years of doing this, one cobra decided it had enough of the “Snake King” and bit him fatally back in 2006.

Hematidrosis is a condition in which capillary blood vessels that feed the sweat glands rupture, causing them to exude blood; it occurs under conditions of extreme physical or emotional stress.

In some cases, each episode is preceded by a severe headache or by abdominal pain. The amount of blood lost is insignificant; however, the skin becomes very tender and easily broken.

Jesus Christ experienced hematohidrosis while praying in the garden of Gethsemane before his crucification as mentioned in the Bible by Luke “and being in anguish he prayed more earnestly and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.”
